This place does one thing really well: decor.  The dining room and bar are really cool looking.  It has a sleek, modern look that would be a good example of how to style a bar/restaurant.

Unfortunately, the service and food do not measure up to the atmosphere.  Especially the service.  I've been there probably two dozen times or more, and at different times of day (and with one or two exceptions) the bar/wait staff do not exhibit ANY urgency or desire to serve the customers.  They sit at the bar, gab and chat with other customers or each other while glasses sit empty.  We once sat at the bar for 15 minutes with no menus and watched the bartender waltz outside to talk with someone, leaving the bar totally unattended.  On another occasion, our waitress evidently went off duty without telling us and we sat and sat waiting for our bill.  We finally went to her as she sat at the bar having a drink and asked for our bill.  She told us she was 'off duty.'  Uh, ok . . .  They're nice people, but there is no leadership or sense of professionalism.

The food is ok.  It was better when they first opened.  The burger is pretty good, and we've gotten some good specials there.  It's inconsistent, though.  We continue to go there because it's convenient for a few drinks or a low-key lunch.  But, the service needs improving if they want to remain busy.

I'm biased because I go here all the time and it's my neighborhood bar.  Upscale atmosphere, friendly bar staff, good food.  Burger is solid.  Can get loud, service usually good but not always.

I had been in here for a beer previously but last night was the first time I went to eat and have to say I was impressed.  Great Specials.  I had the wing special, which was there twice fried wings in a garlic sauce.  They were a great start.  Also had the homemade turkey burger which I had read about on Yelp.  Had a bit too much onion, but compared to the regular drab turkey burger you get everywhere else it was great. Good beer selection.  I had a stout, that was very drinkable.  Great atmosphere, and food.  Will definitely be back.

Up from Florida to visit our daughter and grand kids. Always looking for new places to try. Panther pub is a great little local place.  The service was excellent at the bar.  Drinks were great!  Had the cheese plate and it was wonderful.  All fresh slice cheeses  and fruit.  My husband had the grilled salmon and I had the mozzarella and tomato, both were very good.  I would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

It was my first time there and I liked the atmosphere. It felt warm and cozy. I ordered the fish and chips but they did not have any available. I found that to be disappointing especially since it was a pub. The selection was not overwhelming. They had the basic pub dishes with a modern twist.  The service was good. Our waitress checked in with us periodically for assurance that we were satisfied which is a plus on my list.

I Stopped back again. I had an awesome Turkey burger.  The chef crafts his own Turkey burger here. It's delicious.  This place is just a real comfortable atmosphere and the employees are awesome.

Stopped here last week for late lunch while out riding the moto.  Was a bit chilly and was craving some red zin.  Place didn't look open, but was.  Order a zin & chili.

Young female bartender, kinda hot, was yapping on & on to local older guy about dogs (I love dogs - but 30 mins of dog talk had me running for the door)

2 zins & a bowl of chili and a bill for $22.  hmmm a bit much.  considering the price listed on the menu for the wine was less than what I was charged.

    Chili was a 3.5

    zin was a 2.5

    service was a 3

    Her yapping a minus -3

    probably won't be back

I've stopped about 5 or 6 times now at the Panther Pub.  On the night of this review, I had the wings (hot) and an IPA they had on tap. Being from Buffalo, I can say the wings were not Buffalo wings... But they also were not advertised as such. But they were very spicy, with light breading, made with fresh chicken and cooked to perfection.  I can be a wing snob and again will say they are not a Buffalo wing, but a very nice wing nonetheless that I will order again.

The menu here is not huge (which I prefer) yet offers an excellent variety from sandwiches to seafood to steak. There also are also constantly changing specials. The beer selection is diverse too and the tapped beers rotate as well.  An excellent Ithaca IPA called Flower Power was on tap on my last visit and a Victory Ale was to be be tapped next (I was told).

So far, everything I have ordered has been freshly prepared and cooked. The service has been above average.  Fresh cut fries and lightly breaded fish and chips,  homemade empanadas appetizer, cilantro grilled chicken wrap lunch special, chicken soft tacos app,  cheese platter (only needs bread added), black bean chili, and even tried a couple desserts:  all excellent, and so much more to try.

I really love the place so far. The slightly high prices are worth it so far.  Amazing how prices start to matter less when you are served a high quality, fresh meal. Great atmosphere. Excellent food. Keep it up Panther Pub. Keep paying attention to the details and keep looking for continuous improvement.

Gave the Pub a second chance figuring the bad service was due to a Saturday night my first time. Went by on a Wednesday when it wasn't too busy. Our beers stayed empty for at least ten minutes each round due to our waitress hanging with what appeared to be a friend at the bar. Food came out missing items, but by the time a follow up was asked it was cold and to late to fix. Only offer was to deduct from the bill what was missing. Food was good, but not a homerun, especially for the prices.
Overall, inside is very nice, which seems an attempt to justify the over priced items. For a place looking so nice, trying to figure out why you'd frame a tshirt, autograph or not.

The atmosphere was pleasant; small and quaint with a new pub feel.  The service was attentive with no complaints.  Portion sizes, particularly the appetizer ($7 for a small pretzel....yikes!) were a little on the small side, although this seemed to be dish dependent as our entrees were acceptable portions for the cost.  Also, be forewarned, the soft drinks did not include free refills, as we learned the hard way ($12 for soda).  We ordered the "Reuben" and the "Big Grilled Cheese", both were good.  The desserts were a little unimaginative, but tasted fine, coffee was burnt and bitter.

we stopped in to this new pub just 3 days after they opened.  A quaint bar and restaurant with some with nice rustic touches of exposed beams and fireplace.
They only have 6 beers on tap, BUT they had 4 outstanding and varied craft choices!!  - Got to love the new age of restauranteurs who are aware of trends-
We nibbled on 3 appetizers - Cheese Plate, cause I love cheese with a tasty brew, Spring Rolls and Fish Tacos.  Our waitress was sufficient and the service timely.
Id prob go w 3 stars, but just offering a cheese plate (and good beer) is worth another star.  One suggestion would be to add thinly sliced bread or crustinis to the cheese plate.  We just asked for some bread, which did the job.
