Paradise Catfish Kitchen

Another excellent local lunch find!

I chose to be a complete piglet and get the deep fried combo plate, which included catfish, shrimp, oysters and crab, with fries, hushpuppies and a trip to the basic salad bar.  (I may have left a deep fried crustacean off the list...).  Loved everything, but especially the crab (deviled crab inside the crab body shell, breaded and deep fried) and shrimp.  The oysters were tender enough to bite in half.  Tasty, thin cornmeal batter.  Pickles and pickled okra from the salad bar cut the richness of the fried things.

Very casual interior.  Clean, small bathroom.  Friendly staff.
