Paragon Wines+ Martinis + Plates

For a local neighborhood bar and restaurant, this place is fantastic!

Food - They occasionally change their menu to suit the seasons.  They use excellent quality ingredients. Salads, burgers and their specials are awesome.  Lots of homemade delights.

Service - Very good.

Music - They usually don't have live music, but there are good backgroud tunes.

Ambiance - Quite warm and welcoming.  They also have a fantastic outdoor patio.  Great summer dining!

The Paragon was once the Copper Top. They still have the old copper plated bar. Turned the small alley into a nice long bar and a spacious patio. Decent plates and taco Tuesday is a must. Martini night is Wednesday. Seasonal beers.

If you are from the west side/downtown and looking for the same douchey atmosphere of west 6th street and don't mind the fact that your chances of being shot or stabbed have increased by 5-7% geographically-speaking, then by all means!

If you want a well-poured, expensive drink then you'd have a better experience having Michael J Fox pour you some maddog 20/20.

Mixed crowd..yes but since there is no BW3 nearby, I think they all flock here.....
