This is a neighborhood pub in Spokane just down the hill from the hospital.  Looks kind of plain from the outside, but nice inside with padded stools, neon beer signs and 4 tv screens. Dark wood panelling on ceiling and walls.  Not modern but neighborhood feel.  Had a roast beef sandwich on dark rye.  Was amazing.  They cook their roast beef in house!  Comes with lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomato and onions. You can get a  small pitchers for $6. The pizza is reportedly also good.  Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Two thumbs up.
Review Source:updated: 1/18/13 - we decided to give the park inn Pizza another shot, and were pleased. I follow my advice in my first review, and we had them use only 1/2 the cheese - the pizza was great - not greasy, and we enjoyed it.  1/2 the cheese made it seem less like a sloppy grease blob and more like a delicious dinner.  The staff was also super friendly and helpful while I waited for the Zaaa.  Am changing my rating from 3 stars, to 4. Will we go back? Yes, you betcha. My only unmet desire  in life is - FRESH MUSHROOMS please.  Why in the hell would  you put canned mushrooms on a good pizza????  This baffles me.  Leaves me literally speechless - fresh mushrooms 0 charge me $1.00 more and make it great - PLEASE :)
We went to Park Inn to try their Pizza - we heard it was "really good" . Â Pizza is one of our constant targets for hunting, having moved to Spokane a few years ago, we're always looking for "the best pizza in Spokane" - so of course, we decided to try the Park Inn Pizza when we heard its name pop up a few times as having good pizza.
Two thumbs up for friendly service. Â But don't go for the ambiance - we knew its theme was more "bar" with a touch of "dive" - but still, good food has no borders. Â Our family decided the crust was good, the sauce fine, sausages were yummy, Â but there was simply so much cheese on this pizza that the effecting greasy mass wasn't very good. Â Am never a fan of canned mushrooms on a pizza (seriously? Â WHY do this???? its like saying "we don't care enough about this pizza to put a fresh mushroom on it.".... or something like that. Â
The end consensus - the pizza with 1/2 the cheese would be much better. Â So if we do go back, we'll order a pizza with 1/2 the cheese (special request)... maybe if I brought my own sliced fresh mushrooms, they would be kind enough to slip them onto the pizza before they popped it into the oven. Â Never hurts to ask.
5 stars for a DIVE bar. This isn't the Spokane Club; its the park inn.
Great place to be reacquainted with the LC tiger goons during summer and winter breaks. Â The fact that I can buy a pitcher of beer and 2 shots for under $14 dollars makes this place a MUST VISIT.
Food is absolutely top notch for bar food. Get the pizza. It PWNS the rest of Spokane bars. Hands down.
No matter where you are from you can feel right at home when you go to the Park Inn.  My boyfriend were visiting Spokane for the weekend and  had a truely horrible experience at a bar across the street and were about to call it a night when we decided to try one more place and hopefully end up enjoying the evening.  We sat down at the u-shaped bar and we were served right away.  It also made us very happy to find out that a pitcher of beer at the Park Inn was less than a glass of beer at the place across the street.  We spent the rest of the night at the P.I. and were so happy we did.  Everyone was so friendly and really made us feel welcome.  I know for sure that we will go back to the Park Inn if we are ever in Spokane again.  I think we might even make it one of the destinations on our next road trip east.  The Park Inn was probably the highlight of our trip!
Review Source:ah, the PI. Kokanee Gold by the pitcher, free popcorn, video game bowling AND golf, and a pinball machine? how can you go wrong? supposedly this place has food and there is even a restaurant side, but I've only ever been to the bar side. The nachos are huge and tasty, and the pizza is often kind of burned but still delicious (or maybe it's after a few pitchers that it is so delicious?). this is a great place for watching a game or getting together with 50 of your best friends. my most helpful tip is to not let go of your pitcher on a crowded night; often they run out and then you are SOL if you don't have one already.
