Huge disappointment. We were so excited to have a new place open in our hood. Our expectations were high, considering the chef/owner. Why only two stars? For starters, they have the lamest selection of beer on tap (only 2) I think we had to settle for a switchback. The food was truly uninspired. If you're vegetarian, good luck. You're going to need that switchback to choke down a dry, unflavored falafel with 1000 island dressing dumped on top of the stale pita. I could go on, and tell about my carnivore husbands meal, but what's the point? My only hope for this place is for a menu turnover. I will say, the upstairs bar is groovy. Good luck Park squeeze, we'd love to come back but need some incentive... Start with some good beer.
Review Source:We were driving back from a couple of nights in Lake George NY and looking for a quick bite to eat. Â I told my husband that we should try this place as I'd read recently that they had just opened. Â We were not disappointed and it fit the bill perfectly! Â We split an order of lamb sliders with fries and an order of the chicken fingers. Â The chicken fingers were so different and just amazing - they were seasoned with a lentil mix and served with a coconut chili sauce which was delicious! Â The sliders were equally good and topped with a chutney. Â YUM. Â My one comment was the fries didn't appear to be freshly made (they might have been but they didn't appear it) and this doesn't jive with the homemade vibe they are going for. Â But, giving them the benefit of the doubt on that one. Â Great service, cute place, we'll definitely stop again if we're in the area!
