The local owner and his helpful wait staff welcome you immediately with hot tortilla chips, fresh salsa, and black bean dip. The menu is full of authentic and unique Mexican dishes that cater to anyone and the  environment is laid-back and comfortable. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and fresh, thoughtful dishes make this a restaurant to stop for.
Review Source:Now they have pozole and menudo all week around. Â Both are pretty good. Â There's a good selection of Mexican breakfast items. Â
They start out with chips, as do many Mexican places, but Patio includes both salsa and bean dip, both tasty. Â
In spite of the breakfast menu, Patio doesn't open till 11 a.m.
Awesome spot. Â My boyfriend and I were dog-tired after a day of rock climbing. Â We rolled into this place kind of late - around 9pm. Â The clean counter and wooden swivel chairs greeted our tired bodies. Â The owner is quiet but very friendly, he welcomed us to his diner.
We sat at the counter and ate the best meal we had had for weeks on our road trip. Â We were traveling from Los Angeles - and when the owner handed us the handwritten menu of taco options - I was in heaven! Â The best tacos I'd had since leaving LA.
We had a burger and tacos - and I was sent into a dizzying spiral of delight. Â Afterwards we had two slices of pie - german chocolate and pecan - I was about to go into shock - but I couldn't stop shoveling bite after bite of pie and ice cream into my mouth.
We also spent some time on their WiFi - a real treat to us being on the road. Â To all of you travelers out there - hit up the Patio Grill & Dining room, you won't regret it. Â Well, maybe your waist will.
