It's a standard Oshkosh dive bar with outdoor area. Everyone seems obsessed with this place because they can smoke and drink at the same time (outdoor). Drinks are expensive for what this place is. The crowd thinks they are "hip" or whatever going here. When there is live music it SOUNDS TERRIBLE due to the inside bar's poor acoustics.
Overall, a decent place to stop for a drink or two on a nice summer day.
Walk in, spend a couple-three-four minutes perusing the beer menu (which the bartender was nice enough to wipe the stickiness off of before handing it to me) and order a bottle of porter. Â That's what I was served. too: a bottle of porter. Pro tip: when you are not presented with a glass with your bottle of ale, you are not in an "Ale House", you are in a low-end bar. Â A bar with a really good beer list, I'll admit.
Confidential to the guy at the bar: I'm pretty sure that girl didn't care what you intended to to in the men's room. Â I know I wasn't interested in hearing about it. Â I can't speak for the rest of the patrons, all of whom had to listen to your shouting about your amazing...well, can't print what you said here. Â Nice if the bartenders would've asked you to tone it down, but there was apparently something interesting on the TVs they were watching.
