Pick & Shovel Restaurant & Lounge

Stopped in here many times after visiting family in Wilkeson. Even made the drive to see some friends band playing there. It's small town all the way down to the service and food. Love this place. If you can stop in for a bit, take a load off :)

Stopped in after hiking near spray park.  It's a small town pub with a big awesome bar and shitty beer,  they'd just blown three taps and only had budweiser products.   Food was ok, better than I expected and staff was friendly when they weren't getting into local gossip.  If you're in the area and hungry, go for it,

We came in here for lunch while doing a work field review. A good choice to experience small-town life, that's for sure. Pretty slow afternoon; probably has its busy moments. I had a good ol' Patty Melt, yum! Swiss, grilled onions (which weren't separated), sourdough(?), meat... this is diner fare I enjoy. + fries. There was a carved bear by our booth and appeared to have a "Power to the Bears!" pose. lol.

Good Patty Melt. Waitress had some subtle humor. It didn't quite feel appealing enough being away from the city on work.
