Pinecone Restaurant

Stopped in after a 13 hour drive from Michigan to Cranberry Lake. The owners were super friendly and kept the kitchen open late just for the nine of us! The food was wonderful, the pizza is a MUST. I hear it gets pretty crazy on Friday nights.

Super friendly atmosphere and fun, laid-back clientele.  Went to the Pinecone with a big group of 20+ people on a group summer vacation.  They could not have been more accommodating;  they arranged for a VERY reasonably priced food/beverage spread in their outdoor pavilion overlooking the scenic lake.  The beef brisket was tender and delicious (8 hours low and slow according to the chef, who came out to check on the wares), and the bourbon-bbq chicken wings were lip-smackingly flavorful.  Felt like we were treated like kings!  Cannot wait to go back next time in Wanakena!

Good food and the prices are reasonable.  Sometimes the wait times are long, but overall a great place to eat.  Great view!
