We've been here a few times since moving to town and have been more impressed with each trip. Tonight we went with The Dixie Queen which is a BBQ braised chicken pizza with pickled onions and cured bacon on a BBQ sauce base. We added fresh jalapeños to it and it was amazing! It put CPK's BBQ Chicken Pizza to shame. Next time you're in town do yourself a favor and stop by this place for a little slice of heaven.
Review Source:The pizza is good but not great. I have come here a couple times and it seems to be kind of hit or miss. Sometimes the sauce is gritty and kind of pasty like it came from a can, other times it is great. The service and speed can be really hit or miss too even if it's not that busy. All in all a good place for a beer and a slice, but it nothing out of this world.
Review Source:Three words: Droppin' Beats Calzone.
You wouldn't think nature's candy would be good in calzone form, but with arugula, goat cheese, pesto, and balsamic glaze, it's a combination that'll move Heaven above you and Earth under your feet.
I also had the Mediterranean Nachos. Worth trying.
