The Pizza Place

We have been coming to Red River for years and have learned not to set our food expectations too high. We had no expectations about this place, saw it driving by, and placed an order over the phone to pick up. We had a Hawaiian with Canadian bacon instead of ham and a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni for the kids. The pizzas only come in one size which seemed odd at first but they were really a good size. With a large salad (the only one we've had in Red River that didn't seem like it was dumped out of a bag) we could have eaten just one - plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. I like the crust which is homemade and on the thin side. The sauce is really good too. There's another Italian food place in town that dumps spaghetti sauce on their pizza and it's just awful. I'd definitely recommend this place - I hope they stay in business for a long time. The owner was there, service was good and we'll be back when we visit.
