So we walked into the place and the lady at the counter did not really say anything to us, just kind of looked at us with a bored look. Â My husband and daughter ordered a carne asada torta and got a chicken torta. Â The food was ok. Â I had a very watered down lemonade from the soda fountain. Â Finally they had a gumball machine and my husband put two quarters in for my 4 year old and got nothing, Â When my husband told the guy behind the counter he was rude to him and said "it's not my machine," and walked away.
Review Source:the food is authentic and really tasty. i dont know if they recently jacked their prices for summer crowds but i felt the menu was a bit pricier than previous reviews stated. they have ad-boards along the exit proclaiming 69 cent tacos. BUT dont count on getting those if you are eating past 1pm.. tricky tricky. The ad-boards got me in the door but when i found out i was going to have to shell out 10 bucks for three tacos, beans, and rice i was a little disappointed. The carne asada was my filling option and it was quite good. the salad for the tacos was good, the beans perfect, the rice.. just ok. would i stop here again? probably not. i would try something else first.. In this area, driving from SF to Las Vegas, there are quite a few taquerias and trucks to explore...
