This is a great local bar in DHS. The bar is clean, it's up to date, the staff are great, they're finally bringing in some live music (a performer named Wade Crawford) that plays great music, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bar also hosts the Desert Business Association mixers every once in awhile. The patio is also awesome and comfortable.
Review Source:A sports bar in the heart of DHS that actively welcomes the community, including have a gay night the last Wednesday of every month. The owners make a special effort to spend time with their patrons, with the guy spinning tunes and the gal mixing with everyone. Great place to stop in before or after a dinner out and a great place to watch that special sporting event you have been wanting to see. I have been here a few times with quite a few different dining companions. My favorite part is the table shuffleboard and have spent a couple of hours on this thing laughing about how bad I am at it. Review Source:Best place for drinks, food, and safety in DHS. Â This place is warm and welcoming to all who enter the door. Â They have a heavy poor, great happy hour, and are a gem hidden in this desert city. Â Many folks never leave the spas (which is understandable), but if you happen to find yourself in town, go here and love it. Â Who ever runs this place has a pulse on the bigger sense of service and makes you feel like "everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came..." Â Thank you!
Review Source:An oasis in Desert Hot Springs... Â Â This is a dusty town and everyone gets parched eventually so for a cold one here in DHS, you simply can't do better than Playoffs. Â It's located on the corner of Palm and Pierson, right in the heart of downtown (about 12 minutes from Palm Springs). Â The staff and patrons are friendly, the beer is very cold and it seems like they always charge Happy Hour prices ($3 pints, $3 wines & $4 cocktails).
If you are an NFL football fan, this is the best place in the valley to watch games on Sunday. Â Nothing like it anywhere. Â The place isn't that big but it has big 1080P's all over the place so every game being played is on at least one of them. Â The Minnesota Viking fans are the most vocal, but there are plenty of Charger, Raider, Lions, Cowboys, Steeler and even Chief fans there too. Â Â
Whether you come by yourself or gather a group to watch your favorite team, this is definitely the place for NFL fans.
