Plyler's Pizza & Family Restaurant

My fiancé and I make this a daily brunch stop while camping in Cook Forest.  The staff are always so pleasant!  I'm a vegetarian so I enjoy all of the choices that I have on the buffet!

Buffet was awesome!

While the dark and outdated decor seriously needs some overhauling, the buffet is terrific and the service friendly.

During a recent Friday evening family dinner, I happily filled up with all kinds of pasta salads and appetizers, backed up by steak, mashed potato, mac-n-cheese, crab cake and meatballs. All were cooked rather nicely and tasted great.  The dessert, however, was a rather bland blueberry pie, which was on the mushy side and not very fulfilling.

I watched the waitresses during this Friday evening rush, and I noticed that they were all kind and patient with everyone at their tables. All service was with a smile, and that's a big plus for me.

My only complaint is that the serving ladels, spoons, tongs, forks, etc., were being handled by so many people and being splattered often, that their handles became greasy. This needs more attention by those in charge of the buffet.

Overall experience: I would return if ever again in Brookville!
