This is a good, solid sports bar. Good bar food, affordable drinks and a bunch of TVs throughout the restaurant. Plus, I would say their food is above average for bar food... I got the buffalo chicken wrap and my bf got the stuffed hamburger, both were delicious. The only negative thing was that their kitchen closed at 10pm on a Friday. Which I get it has to close at some point, but we got there around 9:30 to watch a game that was just starting and were rushed to order food. But we live in Manhattan so maybe 10pm is only early for us :) Â P.S. They also had really good music!
Review Source:Don't be fooled by their prime location. The food is always good but its not exactly what you want to drive almost 2 hours for. Its great if you're here for the weekend and you're looking for a late afternoon/early evening meal or a trip to the bar. Not exactly the seafood meal I was expecting, really there was barely any seafood dishes at all unless you consider fish and chips a 3-course meal. I'd definitely come back if I was there longer but I'd like to see what else Montauk has to offer.
Review Source:Atmosphere was relaxed and chill. The Buffalo quesadilla was AMAZEBALLS. I also ordered the crab cake cocktail with avocado, wasn't sure if it would fill me up, but it was the perfect amount of yummay! The turkey burger was a perfect size, and the montauk brew on tap was delish. Not too pricey, the service was nice, wasn't too crowded which was nice, and the yankees were on! #WINNING
Review Source:Very low-key, dive bar type of place, which I love. Â Bartenders were cool and down to earth. Â Crowd seemed good except for two gross people who were aggressively making out at the bar. Â I don't think they realized how disgusting they looked/how uncomfortable they made everyone in the bar feel. Â Nasty, bro.
Anyway, we didn't eat here. Â Drink selection was quite good. Â We'll be back at some point, I'm sure.
Avoid at all costs.  This place is not cool!  On a Sunday night (no band) they didn't charge my two friends a cover but did charge me and another when we walked in 1 minute later!  We asked  over and over for a manager.  Finally, a young women came out and told us basically to leave. Â
Don't go there. Â Do yourself a favor and go across the street to the Memory Hotel.
