Definitely never thought I would be giving this bar 4 stars 2 years after the first time I went here. I was afraid to walk in since it looks like a biker bar, but i did, and thought I'd stepped into the twilight zone. There was a table of nerdy pirates celebrating a birthday... I looked around and walked right back out laughing and said I'd never go back. But, somehow I eventually wandered back in there and what do you know? Here I am now saying that I love this place. It has become my "cheers". I've gotten to know some of the bartenders, waitresses, and many of the patrons on a first name basis. It's nice to go where people greet you genuinely when you walk in. Yes some of the people can look unsavory and are always drunk, but it's the best hole in the wall in the area. There's plenty of bar area, tables to eat at, 3 pool tables, and modern jukebox. My husband has eaten tacos there on taco Tuesday and said they're good. Mixed drinks are well made and fairly priced. Beer selection is ok, but I'm more into craft beer and there isn't any there. If you're a snob, this isn't the place for you, but if you're real and can lower your expectations and cut loose a little, you'll have a good time :)
Review Source:Where to start.... Very unfriendly staff, probably the worst hole in the wall bar in Riverside county. There is a bunch of drunk people every time looking to start trouble. The crowd always gets worse and worse every time I've been, once again, people wanting to start trouble and the staff including the bouncers will back them up. Considering how trashy this place is and how it isn't maintained at all, they charge as much as a high end casino. They absolutely do not put the money earned back into the bar. DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend it, there are MUCH better places just down the street to spend your money.
Review Source:Oh, holy goodness, this place is scary-fun.
Scary, as you are hesitant to leave your car once in the parking lot as it perfectly emulates a windy Kansas horror movie scene where the movie viewers are yelling "No, don't do it!" to the screen, and you (as the actor) are powerless to stop the tragedy.
Fun, as once you safely get inside, there is a funky live band, patrons between the ages of 14 and 84 playing pool together, and a lively vibe.
Do not expect snazzy drinks (or even good beer) or amazing food. Â Do expect to go out and have a good time.
Happy Birthday, Grandma!
Wow!! Where do I begin....The bartender was super friendly the minute we walked in. All our drinks were stiff and perfect. They had a couple of pool tables, and a JUKEBOX which was my favorite.Plenty of seating and there was even a little dance floor:) Real people, good vibes and wonderful drunk talks.
I've been living in Menifee for 4 years and have been looking for a chill ass bar like this forrrrrreverrrr. Most DEFINITELY the best hole in the wall I've been to since I've moved from the OC to this area in a longggg time.
My family and I walked in and were never greeted. After waiting for some time we sat ourselves. Finally someone came to our table to ask what we wanted. We were never offered menus. We ordered a sampler platter for two. It was a bunch of fried food, which is actually what we wanted. That was the best part of the experience. Refills on our drinks were never offered. I was shocked when the check came and it was $30! A sampler platter, 2 sprites and a water, $30!
In conclusion, food=good, service and value=terrible.
Great watering hole in Sun City. Â It is a restaurant as well, and I have actually eaten here on one occasion. Â And I was shocked! Â In a very good way. Â There was only one other couple eating, and they hadn't received their food when we arrived. Â There was nobody in the restaurant part, so I had my doubts they even served dinner anymore. Â However, shortly after we sat down, someone came to help us. Â The menu is very brief. Â I had the prime rib dinner (offered one evening a week I believe). Â It was amazing! Â I expected so much less. Â My friend had a fish taco. Â It was enormous. Â And she loved it. Â I was surprised again when we got the bill. Â I think I left a 50% tip because the food was so good and the prices so reasonable. Â
As a watering hole, this place fills the bill. Â There are four pool tables in the back. Â Lots of tables in the bar area. Â There is a dance floor, and a little stage where they have live music several nights a week. Â I haven't been disappointed yet by the band choices. Â A very eclectic crowd here, from tourists passing through, to the young locals, to the over-50 crowd. Â Always a good time though.
