While on a cross country trek. We stopped here on a whim, based on Yelp reviews. It did not disappoint! My husband had a southwest style salad that was HUGE, fresh, and delicious. He is a big eater and did not finish it all. I ordered a ribeye steak. (Yes, we order completely opposite!) Â It was tender, cooked perfectly, and came with loaded mashed potatoes that tasted homemade. Service was excellent, with drink refills and even to go cups as we left. I don't know if we will be back in this area again, but if we do, I know where we will be having dinner!
Review Source:Another place with sketchy service since all the waitresses share in getting the food and drink to your table.
Typical pub fare. Nothing outstanding or original about any of it. The whole place feels a little greasy because it's so small.
Very off putting to see the cooks lingering outside, smoking.
The patio can be fun on a warm evening.
Another venue where you want to to get hammered first then eat.
We have been to Pony Bar and Grill several times when visiting Sheridan. Sheridan is light on good restaurants so Pony Bar & Grill is a favorite. Service can be spotty. We actually were there last night and today for lunch (rodeo weekend). Â We sat at the bar and both times were ignored. I noticed no one even acknowledged us and said be right there.
It wasn't even busy. Â The food is good so that's why we keep coming back. Â So that's why it gets 3 stars.
Totally good/fine and reliable mid-priced lunch and dinner. Â Reasonably nice waitstaff, although owner has never, i mean never, said hello. Â Strange. Â Casual, comfortable atmosphere and good patio. Â
Since it's one of the very few casual dining options downtown I'll visit again. Â For another inexpensive lunch or dinner destination try Java Moon for lunch or Oliva's for lunch or dinner.
Had a stiff well priced drink here. Good selection. Others at the table had desserts that looked good. Has a patio for when the weather allows. Easy parking (typical for the town). Â When I walked in late to meet the bachelorette group, I was told "look for somebody skinny roaming the floor. Â wave her down, she's probably a waitress."
