  Poppy's is a nice restaurant in Vidalia.  The location is great!  It looks like a beautiful house sitting lookin out on a lake.  The food is okay.  It isn't amazing but it isn't horrible.  There shrimp and grits is pretty good.  They have a great bar upstairs which is a local hot spot in the evenings.  They have weekly specials that can be found on there website.  <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.poppysofvidalia.com%2F&s=0b752edcebccd1a02823b92b9c4eb2c42253e29f13096dbe934a46e7f5cb1935" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.poppysofvidal…</a>
  
  Right next to the original Poppy's, is a great little place called Poppy's on the Side.  It is open for lunch and dinner.  Lunch is an all you can eat buffet.  It is great comfort food.!  Fridays is surf and turf day for lunch so it is always busy then.
