This may be the worst restaurant I have ever tried! Not only was the service terrible the food was even worse. The mushroom appetizer was awful and rancid tasting, the walleye was no better. We told the waitress how bad our food was and it was obvious because we did not eat it . She did not offer to take it off our bill or replace it. No management to be seen anywhere just a sneering female bartender who looked us up and down when we came in. Don't waste your money here.
Review Source:Not my first choice for Prime Rib, in fact probably my last. Had it once before they had remodeled and two of use ordered Prime Rib. Were told it was the last of it but since we were hungry for it ordered it anyway. Â Ok at the best.
Went back with the same couple after the remodel and took a shot at it again. Not any better!! Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but after the second time there won't be a third. The rest of our party ordered shrimp. Extremely greasy to the point my wife said she couldn't eat it after a couple of pieces. Informed the waitress but nothing came of it.. Having to pay for refillls is just not good business. Only resteraunt I believe in Lake City that does this. Price wise we have paid the same at fancier resteraunts and got much better quality of food.
Went back a third time for lunch. Again food was very greasy. Cheese curds were saturated with oil as if it wasn't hot enough when they were put in.
Would go back for cocktails and entertainment but won''t take or refer other people there to eat.
Gave it two stars because  we had a good server two of the three times there and the entertainment was fun. not my first choice for food though. We like to eat out in Lake City but your options are limited. Hoping being its relatively new, things will improve.
We ate here recently, and I must say it was really disappointing. Â I hadn't eaten here since before it was remodeled. Â I will say that it is very clean, but removing the walls between the dining area and bowling alley was probably not a great idea. Â Now, regarding the food, our meal was lousy. Â I ordered meatloaf, thinking how moist and flavorful it would be. Â It was not. Â The meatloaf reminded me of the Salisbury steak TV dinners we had when I was a kid. Â It was dry and tasteless. Â The corn for some reason was seasoned with oregano -- I have no idea why. Â The cream of mushroom soup was watery and tasted as if the kitchen simply took some Campbell's soup and added chopped mushrooms to it. Â The fried cod was acceptable but not very good. Â The broiled cod was over-cooked, rubbery, and seasoned with oregano -- again, I have no idea why.
For a legitimate restaurant, the food was not acceptable. Â Honestly, it reminded me of food you may get at a school cafeteria. Â For a small town, the prices were not cheap, and charging for each drink refill does not make their food good down any easier.
