  There was a conference that had their social here.  The prices are pretty fair, the music was pretty decent, the crowd was...interesting.

  Overpriced,very crowded, and downright dangerous! This place attracts a mixed crowd but there always seems to be a cadre of thugs and gangster wannabees there who misbehave and intimidate legitimate patrons. The security is a joke,the sound system is poor and DJ Cleveland is a nightmare. Last night he insisted upon playing shrill ear piercing noise while the band was warming up!  With only one exit in a second floor venue, the place is also a firetrap! If you value your life, avoid this place!

  meh.  been to much better.  cover is a little high, $10-15 pending on if there is a band or not.  understandable though because they are only open on weekends and holidays, so they need to make money somehow.  bar is a decent size, dance floor medium size.  and pending what dj is there, just okay.  its port jeff tho, so pending what you're looking for...

  I have been going to this place for years. It used to be one of my favorite places to go on a Friday or Saturday night. It is no longer a good atmosphere. It has changed. I went on 11/26/10 to see Big Shot. It cost $15 dollars per person to see them play for about an hour. The drinks are overpriced. It is not a safe place for me to drink, because for some reason, there is always some guy who wants to fight me. I can't figure why. Port Jeff is an expensive, white, upscale neighborhood. It has happened to me three times, and the first time that it happened, I did not drink because I had a blood test in the morning. Be ready for a fight. I took my girl there, and while I was dancing with her, there was some other guy grinding up against her from behind. Do not get drunk there, it is not safe to do so. The people that work as bouncers are mentally retarded. They are seven feet tall and retarded. Don't expect any help from them. The last few times that I was there, it was so crowded that you cannot get anywhere. Not to the bar or the dance floor without bumping in to someone. And then they want to fight. It is a sausage fest like I have never seen before. A packed in, angry sausage fest. If you do go, you need to have a few drinks to make this place tolerable, but be very careful not to drink too much. I have never had any one start a fight with me in any club, and I have been to several in Manhattan, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk. This is no longer a safe place to take your girl if she wants to go out clubbing. If you go, please heed to my warning, and be careful on the stairs.

  $12 to $15 cover charge to hear a crappy local band that only covers the work of other established musicians?  No thanks!

  I always have a fun time when I go here.  I usually go around 1230am to skip the band and dance to the DJ.  No offense to the bands I am sure they are great just not the reason I go out. To my surprise the DJ is very good, he has a good mix of hip hop and dance.  It is the best place in Port Jefferson to let loose.
  
  The cover is a bit crazy considering we are in Port Jeff. ($10.00) and on top of that the drinks are expensive but like I said to just dance 5 minutes away from my home it is worth splurge... once in a while.
