    Uh ok so here we go....
    The food is subpar at best. The chef should be embarrassed at how some of these dishes come out. $15 for six deep fries oyster on onion rings. The fryer oil had obviously not been changed in a while  as they tasted burnt and had bad "old" oil aftertaste. The fish bites $13 had six medium bites of fish with deep fried pickle chips (btw deep fried pickles are better as spears but what would I expect for $13?) and were fried in that same disgusting old oil. We had been up the night before for a drink and the guy sitting next to us said they had good pizza so we came up the following night just for the pizza and unfortunately ordered these appetizers as well. So lets talk about the "great" pizza. The thin crust pizza was a preformed frozen shell that had a butter taste to mask the fact that it was subpar as a pizza crust. The toppings were all in the middle which made the middle soggy and the outer too crispy. The pan pizza we ordered had the exact same preformed frozen crust bent into a pie pan and baked with the toppings. Not as pathetic as the former yet still an embarrassment. $105 for 4 with two drinks a piece. Not worth hard earned cash.
    The service.....
    Our waitress was sweet but was set up to fail by her management team. If they have one. Her section was table in three different sections of the place and she was frantic. Not that she was bad but what could she do. We didn't see a manager on the floor all night trying to help out an obviously understaffed restaurant. Does the busy season sneak up on the management when they have 8 months to prepare? I guess so. We went here two consecutive Thursdays and both were understaffed. So I guess they can't plan even when they know its coming. Truly pathetic leadership leads to this and they should think about getting real restaurant management for the front of the house and kitchen. Our waitress said that she only had made so many mistakes from being overly sat that the kit hen was full of food just sitting in the kitchen to be thrown away. There goes the profits !  
    I NEVER write reviews but as a captive to BSM I have to eat here from time to time and can only hope that the owner (s) take this review and straightens the place out.
    START WITH A GOOD GM! He or she can take it from there and just sit back and enjoy their hard work and profits. Trust me I Know! You need the help!

    Management should finally admit this is never going to be the "upscale" dining establishment they would like it to be. It is in the middle of nowhere (a 20 mile round trip from anywhere down dark, single lane Burnt Store Road) pretty much caters to a captive audience to the residents of the development, most of whom are elderly (I should know, I am one). They should just throw in the towel, change the menu to appetizers,  sandwiches and maybe fired fish baskets, offer pitchers of beer and happy hour prices all the time on drinks. They used to have good local bands like Deb & The Dynamics and the Yard Dogs, but they got banned by the residents  because "There too loud" even though they never played much beyond 9:30pm.

    Oppressive Ownership
    It seems as if the owner Tom feels he has the right to put his hands on his employees while his wife Kathy is blurting out unjust orders while getting trashed at the bar to the same employees. Then to fire them when they have children & Cancer a month before Christmas & another with a disability 2 weeks before Christmas & just shy of 3 months so they can't collect unemployment is terrible.  Tha Assistant Manager likes to take breaks to party while they refuse  an employee a break after 7 hours of straight work. Lastly,  they don't want to pay the employees their wages earned & the food is not  good & definitely not comparable to Chicago food, that is for sure. Would you want to eat here?
