This place sucks.
This is the only establishment I've ever been to where the owner was obviously a cheap tool. I've seen him yell at his employees in front of customers over nothing. I've witnessed him come in during lunch and turn the thermostat down to the point the customers need to keep their coats on! I understand he owns quite a few businesses, including being a partner for a gentlemans club. Shocker.
They do have a dirt cheap menu which is a nice option, but the food on it is not good. The only reason that the Post should ever be considered as an option is for it's patio.
I normally don't hope that a business will go under, but it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Dead on Saturday evening. I walked in thru the back and walked straight thru to the front, but it was locked. How can that be safe? What if a fire broke out and the 4 people in this place ran towards the front to escape? Chaos.
I might be more upset that I had to turn around and walk thru the entire bar again like a jackass because I was too cool to stay here with the 4 people, but I made the best of it and started talking to myself loudly about the weather as I walked past them. So instead of getting laughed at I think they thought I was crazy, which works for me.
This bar...I was so excited when this location opened years ago because I was such a fan of a couple other locations but honestly, the only time I like this place is summers on the patio for happy hour. Â The bar itself is set up fine, long bar on 1 side, booths along the walls, some high tops in the middle & then a dance floor against the other wall w/DJ booth off the floor. Â
The DJ is OK but nothing special, the service is pretty slow, the prices are way too high unless its happy hour, the only decent food I've had here is their pizza & I've had a few different sandwiches & bar food that were all awful. Â The clientele is the worst part...a lot of trashy people lacking self respect hang out here, I've seen chicks gladly getting molested on the dance floor (like hands down their pants not just an ass grab), I see vagina every time I am here, couples practically screw on the dance floor (some probably do) and its just all so tacky. I am by no means a prude but I am always disgusted by the behavior of people here on the dance floor...they act like its a club in Vegas & its far from it! Â The fact that the staff does nothing about it says a lot about the place.
Now that you can't smoke in the bar people smoke in the bathroom rather than going out to their covered patio & its just gross & I used to smoke...the staff does nothing about this either. Â Every time I come here I say I'll never come back but then some friend will have a party here that I want to attend & I spend the whole time waiting to get out of there. Â If you are looking for a nice classy evening keep on walking because this is not for you...if you are looking for exposed underwear or vagina & guys who ask you to pay for their drinks then this is your place!
My older sis likes the place and it is near my house so, we go their every now and then. Â I must say our tastes differ. Â I am not down with this place. Â

 It does get a star for cheap lunch specials and another star for a nice outdoor patio, but that's about it.  The food is meh.  Its not uneatable but, I prefer to spend my money someplace else.  For example the chips and "fresh" salsa taste like off-brand bagged tortilla chips and salsa from a jar.  I could easily just buy that at the dollar store.  Yes, it is bar grub but, it could be a little bit better than "meh"
 The other down fall is the wait staff.  It takes forever to get your food and a lot of times they are busy trying to make extra tips by posing for smart phone photos with 50-something year old odd balls! Â
This is the place to have a cheapo lunch and beer, but not a place to impress anyone.
The beer is decently priced... which is about the best thing that I can say about this place. The wait staff is slower than molasses, the atmosphere is super cheese and really, really loud. It's definitely not a place that I would ever need to return too... especially since Dearborn now thinks that it's all Royal Oak and can charge for parking. WTF is up with charging for parking in Dearborn?? Okay, I know it's been a while since they started doing this, but since I haven't lived here since I was in my 20's I can complain. So there.

Review Source:What a ridiculously overrated place. I could stand about 10 minutes of this bar, partly because of the atmosphere and partly because of the people it attracts. Laid back my ass.
Part budding fraternity gang war, part Jersey Shore... but crappy. The Situation would fit right in - with all his clones.
I have to assume that not everyone has the issues we did, but I need to be honest about our experience.
First of all, I want to start off on a positive note. Â The atmosphere is cool. Â The hubs and I went to their back patio and it was pretty laid back, and breezy and they have a pretty big bar. Â They have incredible beer specials so drinking there is relatively cheap.
Another plus is the food. Â Hubs ordered a turkey sandwich and I ordered a grilled chicken burrito. Â Both were very good, and coupled nicely with the beer. Â Portions were huge and prices again were reasonable.
Now comes the dark side....the service. Â I can safely say it was some of the worst I have ever seen. Â Being in the outdoor patio, we were right next to the smoking section. Â Our server was out there about 5 times during our time there. Â Â There were so many servers going back and forth, hubs and I agreed that being a smoker must be a requirement for working there.
Back to our server, had to chase her down to come to our table and take our drink order.  Then chase her down again for our food order.  And  for good measure, one more time for our drink refill order.  By the time she brought hubs's wrong food, and we had to chase her down to get it right, we felt like the biggest nuisances on the planet. Â
Because we had been waiting so long for our order to be taken, we passed the happy hour deadline, but our server promised to take half off the price of our appetizer anyway. Â Â I'm thinking it's no surprise for me to tell you that it didn't happen and guess what...we had to chase her down to get it fixed. Â
I would go back, but I will sit at the bar where I am in somebody's face the whole time.
