Great blooming onion, awesome service, and what looks to be a very spacious patio. We couldn't take advantage of the patio due to weather but we will be back. We were here for football and decided on a pitcher to share. There aren't as many tvs as I thought there would be. It's also kind of fancy for any sports bar I have been to. It looks to be pretty new wood interior.
It seems to be a locals kind of place for sure. But now that we are locals we will hope to fit in. :)
Press Box is a locals-only kind of divey sports bar. The patrons are an eclectic mix of all kinds of folks, and everyone knows everyone.
They've got lots of teles, a juke box and a food menu that ROCKS. I got chicken fried chicken with a side baker (there goes the diet) and the beau downed a chili burger with the best tots evar. Deep fried, crispy, pipin' hot - I wanted to snatch his plate.
They have a few brews on draft, but not a big assortment of craft brews. There's also a patio and you can actually enjoy it on the cooler nights because there's a big outdoor fireplace.
