The Publik House

Went on a weeknight with some friends that live in the area. Grabbed mozz sticks and their 50 cent wings(awesome!) and standard pre-frozen mozzarella stick.

Overall,  nice and clean local joint. Great service from server is always welcome, even with just ok food, but behavior of "boucer"(on a wednesday evening?? LOL) left a sour taste in my mouth He kicked out a customer because he "snuck" right past him at the door. When the bouncer finished having his all-important conversation with the waitress, he caught on and stormed inside, grabbed the guy by the arm while yelling and screaming at him to get out. Had he been doing his job, no one would have been "snuck"-ing in.

Despite that disrespectful show, its a nice spot for Rockland county locals. But coming from west essex area in NJ, it wouldnt be worth the drive.

Best burgers in Rockland County, cooked perfectly (I like medium rare) every time . A nice selection of specialty burgers to choose from. Rest of the menu is typical bar fare. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either.  Nice bar with plenty of TVs for the space. Definitely a local bar feel here.
