Quincey's Pizza

I've eaten here about 4-5 times over the last several years when I come through town. The pizzas are WONDERFUL and I recommend the veggie pizza - it has never disappointed us.  Something special about the crust that makes it entirely yummy.  Their salads are always fresh and the lettuce is very good (and I'm picky about it). They also have "standard" restaurant food - nothing fancy, but burgers, sandwiches, etc., and what you'd see in Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel, etc.  

They are busy during lunch and dinner hours and this seems to be the place to be for locals. So that speaks well of them, too. The facility is divided into two large sections. Within the last year they've started having live music on Friday & Saturday nights in the adjoining "bar" section. This can also handle overflow seating when the main eating area gets full.

No complaints about service on my visits.  Keep in mind that if they're slammed with hikers (like during Trail Days or tourist season) things can get hectic.  I think if you bring any problems to the manager's attention, it will be taken care of.  I found the servers to be friendly and nice on all my visits.

I wanted to love this place.  $9.95 all you can eat catfish, after all.  But in the end, just not all that good.  Considering the competition in town, though, might be your best bet unless you're willing to drive 16 miles to Meadowview (which btw is very much worth the drive).

My sister & her son stopped in here after getting the "Trail" washed off them & had a wonderful meal of pizza & beer (pepperoni & jalapeno and the chicken & feta)...they hiked for two days, caught a ride to town, stowed their packs outside, went in and found they were the only patrons...three boys poised momentarily by the register before disappearing into the back...they came out about five minutes later, saw my sister & nephew still waiting, and all three went BACK into the back and never came out...until other customers came in, then they were waited on...Damascus claims to be a haven for hikers, but don't believe it! There is no place to camp, the merchants only want your money if it's clean and it's only a haven for bigots...if all the hikers could put the word out about Dumbass-cus, they might get learn humility in poverty!
