Quiznos

Quiznos are really hard to come by these days. If you look for one "nearby" on yelp, most of them list they're closed OR when you seek it out, you'll be disappointed to find out their doors have closed too. So, when you come across one, you tend to jump at the opportunity to stop and dine.

In the last couple of months, I stopped here on two occasions during road trips up north. Once in May on our way to the Wildflower Triathlon and most recently returning from our Father's Day weekend camping trip up north.

Located in Lost Hills (aka middle of no where), you'll likely never stop here unless you need to gas up or take a bio break, in our case, it was a little bit of both. If you're looking to be efficient, you can do all the above AND fill your bellies at Quiznos, which conveniently shares a wall with a 76 gas station.  

The service here is friendly and quick if there isn't a line. Both times I stopped, there was only one person working so I can image if a line forms, there might be a delay.  My chicken pesto flat bread was prepared nicely and was pretty tasty too. I'm glad we found this Quiznos. It's certainly better than stopping for some other fast food joints in the area.  Hopefully this one stays open now that we've discovered it.

Stopped at this Quiznos location on our way to SF. It's a clean location and service is good too. Since it is a pit stop for many people, it seems like it's always packed but the people working there do a good job of making sure things move along fast.

Our subs were really good and prepared well! Will definitely stop at this Quiznos on our future road trips!
