Good news!

The former tenants at this location, an occasionally open, odd combination of gift store and restaurant, that treated potential customers like they were afraid they might be carriers for some strange, tropical disease have finally left and relinquished this spot to someone a bit more interested in running a viable business.

I managed to catch the new Railroad Cafe only three days after they'd opened. The interior is still a little rough but Jorge was enthusiastic about about running his own show and was passionate about offering fresh, delicious Mexican food to all his customers.

My three tacos were hot off the grill, artfully displayed and delicious. So delicious in fact that I needed two more. And Jorge described several of the raspados that they serve that sound amazing.

I'm gettin' a raspado next time! Can't wait to come back again.
