Poncho's Place

Small place I would have probably never stopped at if it wasn't for yelp.  Great mom and pop Mexican food!  Cheap beer and a lot of food for the price.  Very good and very friendly!

Rancho huevos were good. Coffee was great. Fantastic spot to get a quick breakfast if you're in the area for work or a morning meeting. Friendly service. Quiet little area of town, semi remote.

Good but very average Mexican food.  Was really hoping for something more.

Chips were very good.  Ordered the chile verde, which they recommended.  Rice and beans were just OK.  The entree was good but nothing to write home about.  The place did have a nice hole in the wall feel to it.  

Ultimately, this is Piru and there really is nothing much else to eat here.  If you end up here, it certainly is not bad.  But I would probably head down to Fillmore instead if I was headed that direction.
