As a family restaurant I'd give it an easy four stars, but it advertises itself as a sports bar, and as such, I can't really justify that rating. Â Sports bars do not have little kids all over the place, I'm sorry. Â This bar had patrons bringing little kids, the employees had little kids, and, I don't know, there were a lot of little kids. Â Maybe it's different in small towns, but I believe you should be comfortable cursing in a bar.
However, if your DirecTV goes out during a major sporting event and you're in rivah country, this is a good spot. Â Imports were 2.75, domestics were 2.50, and Old Milwaukee or Busch were 1.75, the clear best deal.
What was really impressive is that all the food was actually really damn good, from the wings to the sandwiches to the fried jalapenos.
