This Irish pub/restaurant changed ownership within the last 2 years and has gone straight downhill ever since. Once a clean place, now is showing signs of decay. The new ownership seems quite lazy and they do not keep things in order. If you've ever seen any "Kitchen Nightmare" episodes or "Restaurant Impossible", than you know this place is like. I wouldn't waste any time at this place.

Nice little pub with a friendly staff and live music during the week.  Food is fine and beer is always good :).  Atmosphere is warm and inviting as are most Irish style pubs.

Nice place, Great staff, and great lunch place... but one thing.. They have live bands it seems on most week nights, and they start to play at 6pm.. So if you wanted to have a nice dinner in a irish pub, you have to get in and out before 6pm or you can not hear wthat others are saying across the table.. Guys.. Start the live music at 8 or so, and let your customers enjoy dinner...

I can't really comment the night life events as I have not been there in a little while, even before moving to MI, but I did stop in one day a couple of years ago for some lunch with the ex.  I was in a scotch Johnny Black mood and had indicated to the server as much.  I liked that once I got done I would find a new glass placed before me without asking.  Normally that would not be cool with me as I budget ahead for such things, but I was in a spendy, deserving moment and was happy with the pointed attentiveness.  I was recommended to try the crab bisque by someone and was so happy with it.  It was my first time having some and I crave it to this day.  I recall the fries being good, hot and fresh too.  The crowd midday was sparse and of the older, more gentlemanly kind, but had no qualms with that in the least.  There was a time, probably about 3 years ago, when I popped in a lot to meet friends.  I didn't really make friends with the bar staff, but one of the owner guys (or THE owner, not sure) ended up knowing what I drank from the sight of me at the bar.  That was a nice touch as this doesn't happen very often at other venues.  The parking is tight and sucks when the place is really packed.  The last time I was there a group of friends and I witnessed a car being towed from being parked in 'non-traditional' parking spot.  Not very cool at all from a customer's standpoint.

me and my bandmates were driving back from tampa but we suddenly got kinda thirsty so we decided to hit an irish pub along the way. our gps pointed us to rasher tierney, an irish pub bar in bradenton.

service was pretty friendly and helpful. we were there saturday early evening. it was pretty mellow but the young crowd started to get there as we were leaving. the cute bartenders also started to get there when we were on our way out.... so, the great thing about this pub. murphys irish stout on draft and a fooseball table!
