We go out to the lake all the time, and we never knew this was here! Â The sign looks real old, so we always thought it was closed down.
We didn't use their dock to launch our boat, so I can't give much of a review about that.
But we did have a couple burgers with fries. Â They weren't the most amazing I've ever had, but they were pretty good. Â Prices weren't too bad... $19 for two burgers with fries, a miller light, dos equis, and a large bottle water.
We'll for sure be going back!
My inlaws have their boat located at Red's Cove at Medina Lake. Â Red's is a nice little spot right by the dam. Â There is not only a boat launch but several boat slips (which is where they park). Â It's one of two places on the lake that has gasoline during the summertime (a bit more expensive then at the pump). Â
The restaurant here is nothing gourmet or anything, just your typical burgers and beers, but the staff is super friendly and treat you like family. Â They are also really knowledgeable about any problems that may arise with your boat. Â
There is parking fee ($4) and a boat launching fee which was $8 last time I checked which is not bad at all for a day at the lake.
