Red Fox Bar Restaurant

The Red Fox was a fine place to get dinner.  You get an abundance of food with your meal including warm bread, soup and salad! The food was very good and they have many choices on their menu to please everyone, including kids. I had a sea food special that was wonderful and the chief even made it a little spicy per my request.  Others in our group had the prime rib and lamb chops. Prime rib was also wonderful.  The lamb chops were slightly over cooked, but still were tasty. Our waiter was very nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.  We all left full and happy!

Let's call it a mature adult roadhouse favorite.  Every time my parents come to SL, we dine at the Red Fox.  Spacious, quiet, white tablecloth.  The standard American and Continental favorites; French onion soup, duck, chops, steaks, prime rib, trout, salmon, etc.  Good quality, gracious service, and good value.  No view of Lower Saranac Lake, which is unfortunate.
