Red Room

Weaver's Tavern is now Red Room. It's still Avalanche maroon, not red, but all the sports stuff is gone so I guess it's not a sports bar anymore. They have a DJ booth and frequently have live music, so I guess it's a music venue. Nothing was going on when I visited on Wednesday evening, but I was told that most nights there are drink specials and music. The full kitchen is not open yet, but I saw some appetizers go out. Beers on tap include Shock Top, 90 Shilling and PBR.

Looking for a predominately college aged bar? This would be it. With Flip night, lots of DJ's and other entertainment, it's a pretty decent hang out. I love the set up of the building itself, kind of wear housey style. Glad to see it changed hands so quickly from Weavers.

Over all the crowd is the folks you would normally see at Whiskey River or at Cactus, but that don't want to dance. Let your entertainment begin!
