Since they remodeled this place it's a totally different feel. Â Which is very good. Â You can easily have parties here, there is a ton of space. Â The food is really good, too, especially the apps. Â It does get busier and more 'bar feeling' late at night, and they've had some really great bands come through. Â If you like a more quiet place, go earlier, before 9 or 10.
Review Source:This was a welcome find when back visiting my hometown. Â Red Sky Lounge has affordable fun drinks, and a really great VIP lounge that is available to reserve. Â I had a champagne topped pink Flirtini for $6 and my friend and I had the place to ourselves so we enjoyed the VIP lounge. Â We were there a little early, about 7pm, and the bartender said it usually gets busier around 10pm.
The bartender was friendly, and offered us a menu. Â They used to carry desserts, but don't anymore, which is why my friend recommended it, so we were disappointed. Â She said the menu was new too. Â We were the only ones there, and he never checked back with us, so that was disappointing. Â
The rest of the lounge outside of the VIP area was bare, and had cold stiff uncomfortable looking tables and chairs. Â It was such a contrast. Â I thnk if they decorate the rest of the lounge to make you want to hang out a while, find their stride with their menu, and not water down the drinks so much, I would definitely up their stars.
There is parking in the back, and a back entrance.
