Red Star Truck Terminal Cafe

A great surprise right off I-20 between Weatherford and Abilene. The food was really good and the service was great.

I love Red Star Cafe! My grandfather used to take me here for breakfasts. I recently returned for the first time since he passed 8 years ago. It is still just as good as I remember it. Go for the country breakfast or omelettes. We also ate lunch there and I had the burger. Delicious! I highly recommend for locals or for folks just passing through on I-20.

We stopped here for lunch while out on a Sunday Harley ride. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Food was typical diner style food, but it came out quick and was nice and hot. Plus, you can get gas at the attached station. Win win.
