This should be a nice place to stop while traveling to or from the casino in Mt Pleasant. It's not. We've stopped twice in the last year and were underwhelmed both times. Both times we ordered burgers, the quintessential bar food. Both times the burgers were dry, as if they'd been frozen at some time. When I get a half pound burger from a small town tavern I'm looking for juice dripping from the bun, carrying with it the one thing you're looking for, flavor. Not with these burgers. When they brought our food, my friend said: "Smells like fish". It was the french fries. Tasted like fish too. Tasted like it was past time to change the oil. The fries were also overcooked crinkle cut. Once again dried out like the burgers. In defense of the establishment, it was a Saturday night and they were packed. They must be doing something right, but that something is not burgers and fries. Next tine we come this way we will bypass this place on hopes of finding the classic bar burger.
