    Great Beer, Food and Atmosphere!!!!!

We were very disappointed on this visit. We came here in Jan 2012 and loved it. The food was freshly prepared and yummy. This visit they said the kitchen is now run by someone else and they barely had anything on the menu. Nothing looked like the pictures previously posted and everything tasted blah. We won't be going back.

This is a fun place to get a drink with friends. There is a great variety of beer and wine. Lisa dose a great job with the ambiance and events.  The food is tasty and mostly local.

I always try and keep it classy and G-Rated on the internet, but excuse me for a moment while I say this place F*cking ROCKS!!!! Passed by here a number of times while camping at nearby Dead Horse State Park, and never tried it out. This trip, we were staying in Sedona, about 20 minutes away, and made a special trip just to check this joint out. They have an excellent selection of craft beer on tap, one of the best selections I have ever seen. The hostess/server was very generous in letting us sample a few brews before making a final selection... or two. The Mission "Shipwreck" was an excellent choice, I must say. Place is a converted gas station with minimal decore, very comfy and inviting, outdoor patio area is very cool with lounges and tables. Rained a little while we were there, and we just took cover under the canopy & watched the world of Cottonwood drive by. 5 stars is not enough for this unique, cool establishment!

Where do I start?? We've been here a few times and I love the local wine list, the beer cocktails and the lounge-y bar next door-y kind of feel. The waitresses/bartenders are all great and the appetizers are delish. The guacamole is amazing with just the right kick of lime juice and cilantro.

Only complaint I have is it was a little warm last time we were there and the chips that come with the guac and salsa were over salted -- maybe they're just trying to keep people thirsty for more.

Best place in Cottonwood for drinks and apps!  If your looking for a trendy, upscale place (but not pretentious) for drinks this is the place.  Great selection of beers on tap, and good wine selection as well.
Open atmosphere, often with live music in the background.  Prices are reasonable as well.  We have never had a bad experience here and have been often.

Oh how I wish this place was in Phoenix.  We came upon this place when we were searching for a better place we visited before.. forgot the name, but it was Kate something..

After walking down the street we come upon this awesome old auto shop that was converted into a wine and beer bar.  ..and they had food too!!  We all sat at the counter while this great band was playing behind us.  James Alan band or Alan James band.. forgot the exact name, but they were great.

Summer was our bartender/waitress and she was beyond awesome.  Super friendly and fun to chat it up with.    The regulars that showed up seemed very chill and it made the whole experience a great one.

I can't wait to come back here because we definitely will be back!!

    Thanks Summer for being awesome!

The beer and atmosphere was great. We sat outside by fire pits and in super comfy couches/chairs. The beer they had on tap was extensive and wonderful. The service was also great. They have a small food menu as well. Definitely recommend and try the different beers.

Good selection of beer.  Also, beer cocktails and wine.  Our server was very nice.  The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.  Overall, we loved it here.  I can't wait to come here with my husband.

Came here at the end of our Paddle for Pints tour where our tickets included $20 vouchers for food/beverages of our choice. Our drive from the river to this place seemed a lot further than I thought it was going to be, but worth the drive.

This former gas station is a cool environment to lounge in and have drinks and food. I was impressed with the food, having tried El Mixto and the platter of cheese and meet (can't think of the name). The bartender/server was very friendly, sociable and accommodating. This is definitely a place worth coming to again.

Came here at the end of a "wine crawl" through old town. I grew up down the street and used to buy 5 cent laffy taffy's here as a kid. Had a half bottle of prosecco (good price, and not so common to be able to buy a small bottle) and a lovely night digging my toes into the astroturf. Don't worry, it's really high quality astroturf. ;-)

Nice new addition to The Cottowood Bar scene (if four bars constitues a scene). This is an old service garage that has been made into a bar/lounge. Has an old historic feel to it, and the outdoor seating area is nice. They serve beer and wine only, but the selection of draft beers is awesome-the best in Cottonwood. There is a variety of bar food available made from local produce and ingredients and made to reflect different culinary styles from around The World. Keep in mind that this is still bar food and is a limited menu, but the offerings are probably the most creative of any bar I've been to recently. The best time to go is at sunset/dusk when there is a cool breeze and the last bit of daylight splashes onto Main Street. The bar is supposed to close at 9:00pm during the week, but was still open at 10:40pm on a Wednesday as there was still thirsty crowd.

This place was awesome! Was here on the evening of July 4th. Was in town looking for a place to eat before the fireworks show and this being one of the only places that looked open, we decided to stop in. Now this is not really a sit down restaurant or anything, more a lounge / bar that serves food, but I have to say they accommodated us well with our 3 and 1 year old with us.

Beer selection was good, I tried a Chocolate Stout they just tapped. Food wise it was great too. The cheese and meat platter, which my kids helped devour. It had some good fatty Italian meats and cheese, plus some olives, then some bread and oil to dip it in, along with a fig compote to spread on. All very tasty.

We also split the Rendezvous rolls and Empanadas Italianas. The rolls were good, my wife thought a bit dry, but she didn't dip them in the soy and wasabi, which I thought topped those off. We both agreed the Empanadas were the best though. They just melted in your mouth. I joked I could have gone for another order. (i probably could have actually)

Got out of work, not too late (chef at a restaurant), on a Saturday night and where to go? Wanted to relax and have a glass of wine, so the wife and I decided on R.I.O.T. - Rendezvous in Old Town. When we got there there was a live two man band playing (rather loud). So, so much for relaxing. But let me tell you, when that guitarist started doing some slide guitar, it was absolutely fabulous! When the music ended, things really quieted down and everybody started to relax (including the groupies). We sat at the bar. There are a lot of sofas and chairs around that extend outside. The doors and windows were open (for the music I guess) making it very warm. The wine was good and there's a large selection of beers. We ordered the Empanadas stuffed with prosciutto and cheese and served with a Chimichurri sauce. Tasty. We'll be back!

Cool gas station turned into a beer and wine bar. They had about 20 beers on tap including lots of local ones and several IPAs. Staff was very friendly. It was pretty hot indoors in May and seating was difficult given the shape of the building. We didn't try the food.  Definitely will be back for a beer!  One of several pleasant surprises in downtown Cottonwood.

This place is so cool - old garage converted into a bar/lounge/restaurant. Was on our Paddle to Pints tour w/Sedona Adventures (highly recommended) and we were not disappointed.

They are in the works of extending the outside more - it was a red flag windy day so we were forced inside - bummer - but the beer and food more than made up for it.

The El Mixto sandwich was awesome - kind of like a Cubano w/a local twist and very filling. Best part is they serve it w/salad made w/locally sold balsamic vinegar and olive oil sold just down Main St. - very cool. I had the Lobster Sandwich and thought there was way too much bread and not enough lobster (we live in a desert though - so guess I should get over that one) but the desert we had more than made up for it. They had three cheesecakes and the only difference was the locally sold balsamic they drizzled over the top - Strawberry, Blueberry or Chocolate. Go chocolate - you will moan until heads turn or at the very least decide that you need to go to the Olive Oil store down the street and try more of their wares.

The server/bartender was friendly, a local and full of knowledge and tips w/o being overbearing. The beers were plentiful and on tap (mmmm...Moose Drool) and the wine list wasn't bad either - featuring some from the local wineries. I had two $20 vouchers for this place and could have gotten my meal and beers for free, but chose to hang onto one so that I will guarantee a return before they expire.

On our way to Sedona, thought we'd do a side trip to Cottonwood.  I had heard about the Rendezvous, and it's  selection of beers on tap (looks like they have a nice selection of wines as well.)  John the bartender was great, easy to talk to and very knowledgable about beers.  Great selection of local microbrews and seasonals.  Would definitely make it a stop anytime we are in that neck of the woods.  Very limited menu, but looks like a good burger shop across the road that we would try next time.  Who knew Cottonwood was getting so hip?
