I just had lunch here and it was great ...until the dogs came in. I didn't see any during my lunch, and then all of a sudden two separate groups of people arrived with 5 large, smelly dogs between them. The smell was nauseating. I left; I had been considering coming back for dinner because the food and service were excellent, but I would never dream of going back now.

I'd give this place 5 stars, frankly, if it weren't for the dogs, because the food and service were excellent. On top of that, it's too expensive a place to have one's meal ruined by dog breath and not feel somewhat cheated.

Can't beat the setting... and very, very good food with excellent service. Highly recommended.

The wine list is excellent, and has the best restaurant pricing anywhere (about 2X retail instead of the usual 2.5-3X). Ask for Tony.

We came here for my mother's birthday and the hostess and owner not only screwed up our evenings entertainment....but they were extremely rude when 'attempting' to explain how and why they screwed up our evening birthday plans. The hostess talked in circles....and the owner should zero sincerity and offered nothing (not even a birthday dessert as compensation). I would strongly recommend staying AWAY from this place if your evening is important to you. I'd prefer to add NO stars but I guess I'm obligated to add 1 star for the review purposes!!! Shame on you!!!!

Rene has it all!  Amazing and flavorful dishes, charming and rustic decor all being attended to by a cheerful and helpful staff.
I highly recommend this AZ Gem if you in or near the Sedona area.  It's not pretentious, just captivating and amazing.

Antelope Carpaccio..... :::: thud ::::  .... can I fly back just for this?

NOT gamey - but actually a sweet meat.  It was utterly amazing.

    Entrees:

I had the duck - 2 pieces woven together and then broiled.  It came with a mushroom/wild rice cake.... (OMG)

He had the eggplant roulade (don't ask - it's what he wanted)

I had a bite and it was really really excellent.

Crepes Suzette for dessert!  (Made in front of us of course)

    Well worth the calories!

Service was spot on.  Very attentive.

If there is one place you should eat before you swear off cucina deliciosa--aka, diet until you weigh what you did in high school--it is the French cuisine at Rene at Tlaquepaque. I have eaten there so many times locals swear I am the greeter at the door. Truth be told, if you want a rack of lamb that has Texans drooling all the way back to their state line or the best sole to equal what you usually only find on the East Coast, dial the reservation desk at Rene and treat yourself to a dining experience to talk about til you go back for more. The ambience enhances the meal and the waitstaff is without equal in Sedona. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, a tall, dark and handsome virtuoso violinist will thrill you with his repertoire. I could write reams but instead I am going to stop and drop by for wunderbar!

Stopped by on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for brunch. I recommend sitting outside so you have a view of the quaint and pretty plaza. The cuisine is French and quite decent. We had the french onion soup, salmon salad and the sand dab. The french onion soup was average but the two salad and entree were well prepared. The service is also good.
While our experience was certainly very good, I didn't find it extraordinary enough for 5 stars. Do try it once though.

I fell in love with their wind sculptures for sale and am considering getting one for the backyard.  The art gallery is very nice and the lady helping us was great.

This is a review from New Year's Eve 2012-13. While I realize that this is a busy night for most restaurants, and this was the case at Rene, there were some things that just made this a not so great night.

We made reseervations for dinner and arrived on time. We were seated at a very nice table in the back room, and greeted by our server, who also served as teh sommelier. He was very knowledgeable regarding the wine selections on the list, and we ordered our first bottle, which was fabulous and the best part of the dinner.

When we received our menus, we noticed that there was a pre fixe menu for the evening, which we didn't know about, but actually looked fine. When the time came to order, they were out of the one starter that we all wanted (scallops). We all chose something else. We then got to the entree, and two of us tried to order the potato crusted sea bass, but they were out of it also. I asked if there was a fish substitute (they have salmon on the regular menu) and was told there wasn't. So... two of us had antelope venison in a bread wrap. It was not the worst meal I have had in a restaurant of this stature, but it was close. Really, the wine and chocolate souffle were the best part of the meal. The lamb chop the other two in the party had was much better than what we ordered, but it was suggested that we would like the venison.

The bill came to just under $600.00 for the four of us: four dinners, two bottles of about $50 wine. As we were leaing, my wife noticed another woman squeezing lemon onto an order of some other white fish, and as we looked around the room, there was another table that had just been served a fish alternative to the sea bass that was on the menu. It was New Year's Eve, and we were headed to another resort for an event so I didn't stop to ask about how they were able to find something for them.

We visit Sedona about 5-6 times per year, and eat everywhere while there. We have not had an experience like this before at Rene, but this is enough for me to not go again. They used to be the only place in Sedona to go for a nice meal, but that is not the case anymore. For this kind of money, go to Enchantment instead.

One of the most amazing French meals I've ever had was at Melisse (in Santa Monica), so I'm not sure it's fair to compare French food served at Rene's with that served at Melisse.  But that's pretty much the only other French food comparison I have to draw from.  I found the decor at Rene's to be old fashioned and fancy in the way that it's geared toward older people.  That probably explains why the demographic of everyone dining there except for my husband and I was older (55+).  I really enjoyed the pianist/vocalist playing in the patio area which added nice ambiance.  For the high prices they were charging, I expected the food to be much more impressive.  The food was OK, but not fine French food (in my opinion).  The portabello soup was too salty and a bit overwhelmed by truffle oil.  The duck (which the waiter said was one of their most popular dishes) was really meaty, but it was in need of much more bold flavor for such a rich meat.  The antelope was tender and surprisingly not gamey, but again lacked flavor.  The steamed veggies definitely needed more salt, which seems like not that big of a deal because salt is one of the easiest things to add yourself.  But, I feel like properly salting food is one of the basics that shouldn't' be overlooked by the kitchen and points toward other potential flaws in the food.  Desserts were brought out on a tray which is always fun to look at, but nothing was particularly  unique or tantalizing enough for us to order.  While service was attentive, I expected it to be more refined. During dinner, violinist was playing in a corner of the dining room which added some nice ambiance.  Overall, I was not particularly impressed and not especially wowed by the food.  Note, even though they advertise themselves as fine dining, casual attire (what you wear for sightseeing) seems to be the norm for at least half of the diners.

I love Sedona, this is my 6th time visiting. Every time I'm here I eat at Rene. I booked our Thanksgiving dinner about eight weeks ago. As expected...outstanding. The menu was a four course dinner. We started with:

    Appetizers:
    Sweet Potato Ravioli
    with boursin cheese sauce and
Duck Confit in a crispy wonton cup with sun dried cherry sauce

    Soup:
    Pumpkin Soup
    with fig quenelles

    Entree:
    Traditional Turkey Dinner

    Dessert:
    Pumpkin Crème Caramel and
    Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake

...and we shared a bottle of Pinot Noir.

This is the best restaurant in Sedona!

I would have rated them higher, but the food just simply did not deserve the high pricetag. The food was okay - not terrible, but not exceptional.   I also did not appreciate the outdated practice of using trolleys to ferry each course from kitchen to diner and dirty dishes away from the table.

The escargot were well cooked, albeit resting in a semi-bland garlic-herb-butter sauce.

The duck was crispy and tender in a sweet cherry sauce.  Again, not a poor choice, but also not very inspired (especially at $30+ for the entree).  I did not appreciate the fried rice pilaf cake as a side component.  It was quite greasy and the plate would have benefited from its absence.

The tableside preparation of the crepes Suzettes was a nice, tasty ending to the meal.  A little outdated in the practice... but not offensive.

Outstanding!  As a restaurant professional I always keep my expectations low-to-moderate - no matter the prestige or price point of the establishment.  This was an exceptional experience.

Zucchini salad - super fresh and bright flavors.
Portabello bisque - One of the best mushroom soups I've had.
Scallops with prickly pear buerre rouge - perfectly cooked, sauce was incredible.
Antelope Tenderloin with whiskey juniper sauce - ordered medium rare, I had to ask for an extra side of sauce because it was that great
Goat Cheesecake - Creamy, not too sweet, nice fruit and cream sauces.

Service was impeccable, perhaps a little stuffy, but nothing distracting.

I've eaten all around Arizona, and again, very impressed.

My lady and I came across this quaint place by chance and wandered in to give it a shot. It was the perfect place to start off a wonderful vacation. We couldn't have timed it better either! As we walked through the tiny patio and sat down at the small yet thoroughly stocked bar a thunderous Arizona monsoon began to poor down on this little Spanish style courtyard. Perfectly romantic! Our server Cyndie was very personable and quick to serve us up both wonderful flights of wine and a fruit and cheese plate that was beautifully presented and just rocked our palates. As we sipped on a devine Tempranillo Cyndie was even kind enough to snap photos of us as we relished in the moment. The menu looked amazing but we were strictly sipping and nibbling on little bites that day. We will for sure return to Sedona and when we do Rene and the romanticism it exudes is definitely on our itinerary!

1 star because the menu was super tired, touristy french, totally uninspired. Plus
two stars because they actually had a gluten-free menu --
minus a star because our server gave us the lunch menu at dinner, not once but three times before getting it right.  Really?

then how many times did the busboy bring the bread basket?  really?

So why did we go here on a Thursday night?  Elote was on an hour wait at 8:00pm...and we were starving.   Dammit.

The choices on the menu look excellent. We split a lobster cocktail for an appetizer. The lobster was delicious and succulent but I did not care for the combination of grapefruit and onions in which it was served. For entrees I ordered the duck as it was there signature dish. My husband ordered the scallops. I sent my duck back the first time as it was overcooked. The second duck was overcooked as well--dry and stringy. The risotto cake and vegetables served with the duck were delicious as was the fresh bread served before we ordered. My husband very much enjoyed his scallops--they were perfectly cooked.

The wine list was excellent, as was our wine. The service was excellent and the ambience is very romantic--it is in a beautiful Spanish courtyard of the Tlaquepaque shopping center. The servers were gracious enough to take the duck off our bill and we very much enjoyed the goat cheese cake dessert.

Rene is a pretty good place overall, and my wife and I had a good dinner, and very enjoyable time there.  The mushrooms Neptune were fantastic, and rich enough to kill....split this order!   The touranadoes were well cooked, but hey, they are just mini steaks after all, and a bit too peppery for my wife.  I wish we had the sole or duck.  The service was impeccable, the ambience was just what we wanted after a long hot day of touring Sedona.  A violinist played incredible music while we ate.   If you want serene, tasteful, and understated elegance this is a great place.   The desserts were good...I really liked the blueberry covered panna cota.  The drinks were ok.   We chatted with other visitors which made the meal extra good....

    What. A. Gem.

This place was absolutely amazing.  The service was the best I had experienced in years (thanks Tony!).  Knowledgeable, honest and attentive service.

My wife had the duck.  She got full so I ended up having some duck too.  It was perfect: flavorful, delicious, crispy, beautiful sauce.

I had the antelope tenderloin.  During my first bite, my mind was completely blown.  My wife actually asked me "Is it okay?"  and my immediate response was "I'm trying to decide if this is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth."  After some consideration, I came to the conclusion that it was the second or third best thing I've ever put in my mouth - which is saying something (without making this review too much about me, let me just say I've eaten in some fantastic restaurants all over the world and I consider myself to be fairly experienced.)  Bottom line:  Definitely the best meal I've had in years.

A couple of things to watch out for:

    1.  The place is hard to find - not impossible - but somewhat hard.  I made two wrong turns on my way in and Sedona is a little tricky to navigate.  So leave plenty of time, and keep in mind that the place is tucked away in an extravagant, high end shopping plaza in Sedona.  Once you get there though, the location is perfect... it's a truly beautiful establishment.

    2.  Alcohol is stronger at altitude.  At 5000 feet, every drink you consume is worth two at normal altitude.  Don't drink a lot and then try to drive the dark, scary road 40 miles back to Flagstaff (which is what I did tonight) unless you're an experienced and adventurous rural/mountain driver (which I am, and it still made me nervous).

All in all, I can't recommend this place highly enough.  Top five meals I've had in the United States.

Great experience! Girls weekend in Sedona, we went browsing at Tlaquepaque and stopped in Rene's. We ordered appetizers and shared. Two of the girls got the french onion soup, and two ordered the ravioli.  Also ordered the dates wrapped in bacon, the brie plate, English pea cakes, and bruschetta. Everything was very good! Waitress was a hoot and fit right in with our group. Really great time and good food.

It kiils me to do this.

But I cannot in good conscience give Rene a 5 star rating.

I've been twice, and both times have left feeling let down.

I love the location and the ambiance. But for me, this is where it ends. The food lacks creativity and what they do make is just eh, average.

Now for the bar. On my last visit, three of stopped in and found a seat at the bar. I asked for a sidecar (which by the way is a traditional French cocktail). Ok, I spot the bartender looking through his drink guide trying to figure out who to make it. I am ok with this, if you don't know how to make it then consult. But when he couldn't find the recipe in his bar guide he came over and asked me what's in it.

    Again, no issue with this.

2 ounces brandy (but asked for it to be made with Tuaca instead), 1 oz Cointreau and 1 oz fresh lemon juice.

I figure by this time my sidecar craving will soon be satisfied. But wait! I spot the bartender attempting to use limes.

    Limes and not lemons? WTH?

I stop him from killing my precious sidecar and the bartender points out that the bar does not have lemons this evening. Are you serious? What bar doesn't stock lemons?

I settle for a sidecar shaken with Lemoncello instead. (not recommended btw)

If you are looking for an amazing French dining experience I think most will be disappointed. But it will do in a pinch.

    Very, very good. Excellent service.

Scallops were fantastic, salads were great. The bananas foster and cherries jubilee were very good (bananas were my preference), albeit a bit over the top.

Elegant place but they have a sign outside on their menu board that says "Casual attire welcome" ... so a great place to come as you are. We wore jeans and felt perfectly okay.

Best scallops I have ever had.   Service excellent!

(I cannot recommend the chicken salad at lunch, I was brought a scoop of salad, plain croissant, on too small a plate--When I tried to make my own sandwich (which should have been made in the kitchen) it ended up on my lap.)

Very quiet with professional wait-staff ... something of a rarity in Sedona.  A pleasure to take clients there as it is reliably pleasant service, and we can hear ourselves talk.    Have taken my husband there and he liked the scallops as well.   No small feat to get them browned PERFECTLY and not overcooked at the same time.

Too bad Chef Ramsey isn't coming here, he would love it !

Excellent food, gracious service.  I had the fennel, orange and walnut salad, which was a nice light at starter, followed by the pork tenderloin which was exceptional.  My only complaint is that they were out of the duck, but frankly the pork was so good that I don't mind.

The restaurant situated in the Tlaquepaque plaza ... very nice, european style shopping center. If not coming to Rene for food, do come by the plaza. It is such a cute place.

As for Rene, it was a nice little restaurant got plenty of cozy ambience. But as for the food, it doesn't quite match up with the other reviews I read or the decor itself. Ordered the french onion soup, five cheese ravioli ... it was a OK, nothing extraordinary. It serves as a nice stop but would rather to sit somewhere with a red-rock view next time

Hm...Possibly the best restaurant I've ever been to...

    Shocking I know!
Rene sits in the middle of a delightful shopping area in Sedona Arizona named Tlaquepaque.
It is very reminiscent European restaurants, the French cuisine was great. I was so excited when I saw they had a roasted duck on the menu. Sadly it was lunch time and they only serve it for dinner. I actually asked if the chef could go out of his way to make it for me for lunch and he did! That's always the sign of a good restaurant and kitchen staff.
The peacakes were also really unusual and delicious!
I really cannot believe there aren't more reviews for this place, it's magical!

Rene was the biggest disappointment of our trip to Sedona.

I'm quite fond of French cuisine and based on reviews was anticipating an excellent French dinner at Rene weeks ahead of the trip.

To cut to the chase the only thing remotely French about Rene was the service. And if you've been to France you know that characterization is not good.

We both had the duck which was dry and overcooked.  The cherry sauce was a poor excuse for a  savory French sauce.

Personally I can not recommend Rene to anyone familiar with real French dining.

Rene is special.  It sits in the charming commecial southwest village known as Tlaquepaque.  From my experience Rene is one of Sedona's finest restaurants.

The bar and wine list are excellent.  To eat I started with the gorganzola and beet salad.  The greens were crisp the cheese was rich.  My entree was the filet mignon cooked medium rare.  The cook did a good job.  It was cooked perfectly.  For dessert I ordered the bread pudding.  Heaven!!!

Our server was with it.  He was prompt and knowledgable.  I would recommend Rene to couples who are exploring Sedona together.

Excellent excecution of some traditional French styles, inspirational desserts. Clearly, with L'Auberge, Rene sits at the top of Sedona dining, but, the severe pride of the chef, the owner/manager and even the barman blinds them from hints, feedback and communication from guests and front of house staff.

Set in the beautiful feaux fantasy southwest / Spanish / colonial / new age pedestrian villiage that is Tlaquepaque (which I love to poke at with "Tee-lay-qwee-PAY-qwee", I finally made my way tonight to the delightful Rene. I was not disappointed.  A lavish dining room in the formal style accented with bits of just slightly out of date but eccentric art which clearly reflect the taste of the ownership.

We had a violinist who played over new-age-leaning interpretations of jazz and classical favorites, all tracks (bass, small orchestrations). Very nice.

    Entree
--Escargot. Brilliant. Wonderful flavors, temperature perfect, nice texture. Hard to go wrong.
--Tuna tartare. Minced tomato bored, didn't combine with caviar and citrus. Wontons completely useless, no flavor. Miss.

    Soup
--Portabello Bisque. Puree with sherry, finished with truffle oil. Decadence! So simple to make, yet the earthy texture of the bits from the puree really captures the complexity of bisque style. I love this and am going to steal it.

    Plat
--Petit Filet Mignon. Compliments to the grill. Perfectly cooked, mid rare. Bernaise, Potato mash with fresh rosemary, brocolini and sweetened carrot.
OK, not exactly French, but I needed something to go with that huge Heitz cab.

    Dessert
--Peppermint gelato in a deligtful caramel and peanut cup, surrounded by cocolate and cream sauce, mint garnish.
    Perfect Finish!

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE -- "TO LISTEN OR NOT TO LISTEN... That is the question"

    BARMAN
After what I learn from the server was a heated argument, we were presented with a garnish plate of cherries and twists. The barman refused to garnish my shaken (not stirred as I asked) Dubonnet Knob Creek Up Manhattan with a twist. I saw the glasses frothing on the tray and sent them back to be remade. Barman: you make the drink as I ask it. Put Luxardo on your purveyor list.

    CHEF
Without fail, every time I gave constructive feedback to our gracious and knowledgeable server, he referred us to the comment card. It was clear he would not be offering it to the kitchen, that front of house feedback is not trusted even when directly from your guest. Menu terms such as "The Best Baked French Onion Soup" are only missing "GODDAM" and "...You Ever Had". Well... considering I just had it (the best goddam baked french onion soup i have ever had in my life) in Lyon, France, and that thing you call a roll which you just served me was nothing like a proper baguette, then there's NO WAY that yours could be the best.

    OWNER
By the time dessert rolled around -- OK, server carried the tray over -- I was pretty sauced, having enjoyed the most delightful Heitz Cab. The desserts looked heavenly, if my eyes were slightly glazed. Wait a minute. Those grapes are so green. Wait. They're so ROUND. Wait. WAIT! They've got FAKE. GRAPES. LINING. THE. DESSERT. TRAY. WHAT?!? FAKE GRAPES. Holy hell. I'm suddenly taken back to smoked glass mirrors and brown corduroys. EPIC Fail. Debra, you've  got such talented staff on your team. You've got to TRUST YOUR FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF. LISTEN TO THEM.

Went here on Saturday evening... was lucky to walk in without a reservation at 6:30pm... of course by 7:30pm the place was completely full.

Seating: Quickly greeted and seated on the patio which had a nice evening, romantic glow due to the lighting but kinda "trafficky" as it is out front at the entrace so everyone who is coming to the restaurant or is walking by can view the area

Service: GREAT... very nice, very professional but not overly attentive (which can be annoying)

Bread: 5 stars... hot out of the oven... served with whipped butter and olive oil

Appetizer: mushroom with lobster in a cheese sauce.... too much cheese sauce that you could barely find the mushroom and lobster

Salad: I ordered the hearts of romaine which was un-interesting but the husband ordered the mixed green and that looked a lot better... I should have ordered that

Dinner: I had the eggplant tower... pretty good but too much ricotta cheese
The husband had duck which was very tasty but just a tad (just a touch) overdone. The cherries sauce on the side was pretty good but just a little too sweet for him.... I liked it but then I like sweet. His also came with a side that seemed like a mushroom-potato-type-cake which was really rich and yummy.

    Ambience: 4 stars
    Service: 4.5-5 stars
    Food 3-3.5 stars
Dessert: all of them looked GREAT but didn't order any because I was too full
    Overall: 3.5-4 stars

    Would I go back?  YES!

My family has been going to Rene for years, ever since moving to AZ in 1983.

First, for those of you who think they are "snooty", you probably have never been to a restaurant of this caliber on the east coast. Rene makes a concession for being in AZ by allowing casual dress but otherwise they keep things very traditional in terms of service.

Yes, the service is more formal than most restaurants here. If you can't mind your table manners, then please feel free to travel a little farther up the highway to the Burger King.

Our server was funny in a snarky Tim Gunn way. He was not intrusive at all while we were eating but made sure we had everything we needed.

On to the food. I can't eat at Rene without starting with the escargot. So garlicky and buttery and wonderful with toast points. My fiance had his own order because there was no way I was going to share. He was ready to lick his plate clean it was so good.

His entree--the steak sandwich. I usually chide him and say he needs to broaden his horizons because he always orders a steak sandwich or Philly cheese steak if it's on the menu but in this case, he chose very well. Beautiful cut of steak, covered in crumbled bleu cheese. With sauteed onions and all on fresh, crusty bread.

I had the sand dab. A very delicate piece of fish that was oh-so-lightly coated and served with beurre noisette. So perfect.

I'm not going to rave about the wine we had because I don't know wine and can't speak with any authority. We both had a glass of one of the blended wines from an Arizona vineyard and it was crisp and cool and delicious.

Ended the meal with coffee and since I wasn't in much of a dessert mood, my fiance ordered and we shared. He chose the freshly made vanilla bean ice cream served with raspberries and blackberries in a almond cookie cup, covered with slivered almonds. And served with a drizzle of Chambord. Good choice!!

Thanks, Rene, for yet another wonderful meal in the charming setting of Tlaquepaque.

We've been consistently coming to Rene's for over 5 years, and it never disappoints.  The rack of lamb table-side is probably the best lamb we've tasted, bar none.  Table-side bananas foster keeps improving each time we have it.  Sides are elegant, and normal sized, always fresh tasting.
We always start off with what they used to call the "party size" champagne - a large flute with an enormous strawberry....yum!
You can't go wrong here - and the guitarist last night was top notch.  If you want elegance without being stuffy, and food that is as memorable as the setting - Rene's is the spot anytime you're in Sedona.

We had a wonderful dinner at Rene.  The food and service were all top notch!  We started with the perfect Grey Goose Martini with hand stuffed blue cheese olives, along with that we had the escargot appetizer which was cooked to perfection.  We also had the mushroom soup and the spinach and wild mushroom salad.  The soup was the best mushroom soup ever and the salad was quite nice as well.  For entrees, I had the rack of lamb and my BF had the seared scallops, both were quite nice, however the scallops this evening stole the show.  I must also mention that they have live music.  We enjoyed it so much that we even purchased one of the musician's CD's.

This is a lovely place for dinner and if the weather permits be sure to sit outside for a nice romantic evening.

Tlaquepaque is nice, Rene isn't. I remember a really stuffy and dated interior, OK food, extremely slow service, and a way-too-high bill for lunch.

Do yourself a favor and find a picnic lunch and a nice park to eat it in instead....that seems like a much more Sedona-esque thing to do than eating somewhere like this.

Lunch on Wednesday July 08 2009.

We waited a few minutes for a table, this was fine as we were not in a hurry. It was indicated it was busy by a cute blond dude. To my evaluation, not so busy.

We were seated and soon after asked if we wanted anything to drink besides water. Meredith and I both opted for coffee.

    Our order consisted of:
    English Pea Cakes $9
    Monte Cristo $10
    Tlaquepaque Pasta $12

The cakes were very thin and did not hold together in the transfer to our plates, but the taste was fine. I would say there is a huge profit in this dish.

The Monte Cristo is said to have ham, turkey and Swiss cheese dipped in egg batter, sauté, with fresh fruit and honey. It came as advertised, perhaps. The sandwich looked to be dropped in a fryer rather than a sauté but I could be wrong. I would have preferred the usual raspberry jam as to the honey. The drip of honey is hard to control and looks flat on the plate. uninspired fruit was offered with this dish. I also thin they found pixie bread to make this as it was the tiniest Monte Cristo I have ever seen.

The Pasta was served with the chicken in strips over the noodles. The whole dish was very dry and according to Meredith tasteless. She requested some Romano cheese.

Neither our water or coffee was filled or offered to be filled until we were done with our food.

Meredith told me she has had good meals here and was surprised.

Not sure who they think they are - maybe you will like if you are reitred: kinda geared towards days-gone-by sorta theme, although you won't get the service you think it implies!

Lunch was dry crossiant with wierd tasting chicken salad. No bread basket arrived which was promised.  server took order & delivered food & bill, otherwise invisable. With such an uppity enviroment, I expected greater service, but got none.

With all the choices in sedona - pick another!!!! Try Secret Garden, Dahl & Diluca's, Picasso's (Awesome pizza, GR8 happy hr), Wildflower's (awesome views, fantastic prices, GR8 picnic take-away!).  Maybe if your bill is over $100 you'll get more service here - good luck there!

Located in Tlaquepaque, a plush shopping area where you'll find many interesting crafts, arts, and other neat stores, this was one of three restaurants to eat at.  The service is wonderful and the environment peaceful.  I didn't like the elevator jazz music, but appreciated the overpriced art apparently for sale there.

The Gazpacho was too watery for me.  I did enjoyed the light dessert, some custard like dish with berries on top.  The servings were too huge, but, the experience was tranquil and the service typical Sedona musing.

One warning: getting out of that Tlaquepaque parking lot is  a serious problem.
