This is my kind of bar!
Medium sized, warehouse feel. Gritty, but not dirty. Good beers on tap and a stage and killer PA.
The night I was there we saw a Van Halen tribute band that was awesome! If I was a booking agent, I'd send bands to this place all the time, great venue. The crowd was a little thin the night I was there, but I am willing to bet it gets pretty wild in there at time.
Nothing fancy here, but they did serve beer brewed next door, which is very cool.
I went for new years eve and for the money, no champagne at midnight. No party hats, horns, or noise makes. This is the second time I have done new years in 3 years. If your going up on the price of tickets on new years then have a reason too. The Velcro Pygmies where great as always!

Well they do get some pretty good acts with regularity. Â I've seen Cornmeal, Sam Bush, Slim Pickin's, Drivin n Cryin among others. Â They also have pretty middle of the road craft beer. Â Not saying that is a bad thing, but they are definitely playing to the middle with their beer. Â They are increasingly having non smoking shows which is A-OK with me because you don't wake up the next day reeking of smoke with a head ache.
The Bad
My biggest problem with RnB is somewhat beyond their control. Â The floor space is like a rectangle. Â If you imagine a basketball court the stage would be where the commentators and score keepers sit. Â I could be wrong but I honestly think it has a negative impact on the sound quality.
A neat place to see a show.
My only complaint was the bar - I don't think they were putting alcohol in the drinks. Â After spending upwards of $80 on drinks for a few people, you expect to at least have a buzz. Â We left stone-cold sober feeling a bit cheated!
I'll see another show when I'm in town again, but I'll avoid the bar.
This is a great place to see some awesome acts. Â I've seen some fairly big stars and some smaller bands, and always have a good time. Â You can get there a little early, get a table, and order some food (limited menu) or show up a little later and drink and hang out in the crowd. Â It's at least worth checking out.
