I'm going to be nice and give 4 stars due to the circumstances. We, my son and I, just had a meal here. Â It was 7pm when we arrived and there was approx 25 guest already seated and one waitress. We stood in the foyer for 5 minutes waiting for the waitress to give us a signal to seat ourselves or wait. I decide to finally have a seat. I was disappointed that it took our waitress (the only one there) a while to even speak to us as I had to get up and grab our menus. When she finally got around to us she was very pleasant. Ok, the steak was outstanding!! The salad bar was in need of a refill, but it appeared to be a lot of reasonable options. My son wanted French fires, but they do not serve them. She offered potato chips instead. They turned out to be baked (bagged) chips. Needless to say, my son didn't touch them...we eat full fat (as close to nature as possible) products. I know this is long, but I feel like on any other day my experience would have been much better.
Review Source:While in town for business, this place was recommended as a good place for dinner. So, tonight I popped in to grab a bite to eat. The service was excellent and the food was much better than I expected. Â I ordered a tuna steak rare with a baked sweet potato and salad. Â I am always a little dubious about salad bars, but theirs was very fresh and filled with everything you could possibly want to add to your salad. Â I was also a little afraid that my tuna would be overcooked, but it was seared on the outside and nice and rare inside. Â Way to go guys! So, if you find yourself in Mt. Olive and want something a step above the ubiquitous fast food and pizza places, stop in and give these guys a try.
