Ricky's Cafe

One of my favorite restaurants in the USA.   Seriously.   Wonderful food, really nice people, incredible prices.  We fed a group of 18 hungry adults for under $200 . .  and the food was excellent.  In a big city you would pay 2 or 3 times the price for less quality and quantity.    I would drive well out of my way to grab a meal here, any day.   The breakfast was good, chili for lunch was even better, and the two dinners I had were both great - pork chops one night, chicken fried steak the next.   Its just feels good knowing there are places like this out there!   If you know of any others like this, please tell me!

A MUST if you are anywhere near this area in Kansas. I could not help myself at this place. The ultimate in American COmfort Food. I truly ate like an animal here. I went with my friend Rodger and RIley my oldest daughter. Combined we ate the following (Rodger eats less than Riley and she is only 2!
- Fried Chicken and mash platter
- Meatloaf
- 2 Chicken Fire Steak Sandwiches
- A hot beef sandwich
- A grilled chicken sandwich for Rodger (they said it was the first one ever ordered.
- Ice Cream cone (for Riley)

The chicken Fried Steak was out of this world. The Meatloaf was also up there with one of the best I have had.
