Rico's Market

Rico's is a little Mexican market with a grill and a counter to eat at.  The ambience is nonexistent, but the food is to die for.  The tacos are mexican style - corn tortillas heated on the grill, filled with your choice of meat with cilantro and onion on top.  They will ask you if you want American style, and I think they put cheese and lettuce on those instead of cilantro and onion.  The burritos are giant and delicious.  His tortas are fabulous.  The choices of meat are carne asada (beef - not ground), al pastor (spicy pork), carnitas (roast pork), chicken, chorizo, and some others not usually popular with Americans (intestines and hog maws).  "Al pastor" is always good, and carnitas are my favorite, but sometimes they make the carnitas a bit too salty.  His shrimp cocktail is just the way I remember it from childhood along the beaches of Baja California - soupy, spicy and delicious.
