Besides having an extensive sandwich and salad menu paired with homemade soups, I like this place because of the community atmosphere. It's a family run cafe where the employees and owners know and chat with the customers, and the customers usually know each other as well. The personal touch in a world of chain stores and restaurants is awesome. Also, I drink my coffee black and their coffee is good and keeps its taste even as it cools. This is an establishment worth supporting, and it won't even cost you very much to do so.
Good for vegetarians and carnivores alike. May I suggest the portabella mushroom grilled panini?
This is the best little coffee shop in Mount Clemens (possibly the only one). The owner is involved with quite a few things in and around the Clem in addition to Che Cosa, which is a huge plus for me.
The coffee is very good and I highly recommend listening to the barista. I haven't been led wrong yet. The set up inside the coffee shop is very different from your typical Starbucks. The front window is full of stuff that totally reminds me of Italy (for some reason...) I don't know why exactly, but that's my thought as I look in.
Another plus is the ability to walk through toward the back and right in to Max & Ollies.
Che Cosa is a definite stop for anyone coming through Mount Clemens. Sit and chill for a while and enjoy the local art on the walls.
An above average coffee house. The expresso and the cappuccino made with freshly roasted coffee beans give a unique flavor. It is the place to go for a home cooked lunch consisting of homemade soup and a variety of sandwiches. The surroundings are comfortable and I enjoy a coffee with a book. Â Free Wifi is available.
