Perfect beach town breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but good old fashion food with very fast service. I think our meals came in under 8 minutes. (Denver omlettes, hashbrowns, toast) We were shocked. THey were delicious. Someone who doesn't care for onions might have been disappointed because it was LOADED with diced onions. Tastey though, I'd suggest a tad less onions and a tad more cheese. Hashbrowns were crisp and delicious. Interior feels like an old IHOP or something but the food is consistent and affordable.
Review Source:I wish there was an option for zero stars... I've actually been there plenty of times and the food was great. Loved the place and it became a staple for our beach trips to eat breakfast at Riley's. However, this will no longer be the case. I'm not sure what the case was, if new cook, new ownership, total system failure in the kitchen? However, our meals came and the two I was with could hardly stomach their food. One was the Captain's Platter, but hey, seafood can go either way pretty easily. The other ordered a burger and onion rings. Burgers are hard to mess up. But I figured he was just being picky. I ordered French Toast and gobbled mine down with eggs and sausage. Everything appeared fine. 4 hours later I was sick to my stomach. Couldn't even sit up and had to lay in the backseat of our car on the ride home. Got home and proceeded to vomit up the only thing I had eaten that day; my breakfast. Not going to go into further details, but it was a very classic case of food poisoning. Â Sadly, this is just not the place is used to be.
