The address is 154 East Lee Highway, phone 276-646-2234, moved to present location 3 years ago. Â We thought it would be nice to have dinner on the river front. Â There is no river. Â Building was previously a hardware store; one of the entrances comes through a freight elevator. Â Large restaurant with booths and tables, feels and looks comfortable. Â Outdoor seating available. Â No "background" music--hooray! Â Bar has 5 wines and 10 bottled beers. Â Varied and interesting menu. Â We chose Onion Petals (deep fried chunks of onion) from the appetizer menu, dinner specials Smoked Salmon Wrap and Cajun Sirloin Tip---all were excellent. Â Large portions, moderate prices=good value. Â Very good service. Â We would come here again.
Review Source:This place is a Chilhowie, VA gem! Â I had the tomato basil soup and the quesadilla and both were exquisite. Â The person I was with said that the potato soup is her favorite, but they were out of it. Â The tomato basil was creamy and everything had just the right touch. Â The prices were cheap (although probably more average for the area) and the serving sizes were just right. Â The best restaurant in town! (or in Marion and Chilhowie, for that matter...)
