Riverside Cafe

I used to stop by here quite regularly several years ago. Their margaritas and daquiris were fantastic. They had good stuffed mushroom appetizers too. Unfortunately, in 1999, after my stepdaughter's graduation I suggested that a large party (10) people all meet there and get a table together. The woman hostess or owner (I am guessing she was the owner as the way she acted) acted very put out that we even showed up in the first place, but the view of the St. Lawrence River was nice at our table so we overlooked it.

The last straw was that we all were visiting and having a nice time and I guess I wasn't eating my salad fast enough for our hostess, as she yanked the salad plate right out from my fork! Everyone at the table was in disbelief that she had done that and she didn't even offer to replace the salad or even apologise after we confronted her on it. What a rude woman.

By that time the mood was ruined. I've never gone back since. It wasn't a cheap restaurant, and I'd rather spend my money somewhere that it's appreciated.
