Not the most enticing place but I sure did have a good time. The drinks are fairly priced and the bartender was pouring some stiff ones. The jukebox has a wide selection of songs to choose from, and some of the people there were nice enough to let me and my group play some music on their credit.
I liked rocks cocktails and I'll likely be back again to have another good night.
This is a good kick back spot that accepts u for who you are, I've seen everything n anything heartbroken people to happy lively people , when other bars don't accept u, rocks is there with open arms, good music, bartenders r cool , especially one Idk her name but her tokyos r da bomb
Review Source:4.5 stars? Â I went into this place on a Saturday night, thinking it would be moderately busy on the basis of such a good rating. Â Total bust. Â The place was as dead as door nail. Â Seconds before I walked in, a guy walked out and started b.s.(ing) with the bouncer. Â
Turned out that guy was the bartender, and the only people in there were a few regulars and a bar fly. Â I sat there for fifteen minutes, waiting for someone to start tending the bar. Â The bartender doesn't come back in until I decide to leave. Â This place is in a shady little strip mall and the people hanging around there after dark don't look to be up to any good. Â I definitely won't be going back.
OK little joint. 2 TVs, space for dance floor and seats along the wall. Not spectacular but not bad either.
PROS:
Clean and well  taken care of by staff.
Looks like a good "local hangout".
CONS:
Outside sign is a banner that says "Cocktails". Not impressive.
Gave waitress a $3 tip for 1 drink & she did not even face us. (Even if you only get a $1 tip, look at the customer and maybe throw a thank you their way)
Talk to regulars a lot but 1st timers have to wait for service. (Make everybody feel welcome so they become regulars).
Might hang out here from time to time if I dont feel like driving to Draft Picks in La Mirada.
First time here a few nights ago. What can i say, a hidden discovery. Right next to school. Drinks are on point. Two drafts on tap. Bud light and i think it was Heff? not sure. Nice local spot in a plaza on the cross streets of Alondra and Studebaker. They also have a pool table here. Great music. TV's. Nice cool vibe to hang after a stressful day at school or work.
Review Source:This used to be such a sketchy place. Â I was so glad to roll in here with an old pal for old times' sake only to find everything, including the name, was new and IMPROVED. Â This is now my favorite local bar, though I stay away fri and sat nights. Â Rocks, like every other bar in my town, has club nights on the weekend. Â I hate club nights at bars. Â And the last club night at a bar I went to was at the Rocks, and was not surprised when half the place cleared out for a good ole' Norwalk style parking lot brawl! Â But that was months ago. Â Other than that, it's all good the rest of the week. Â Very personable staff, reasonable prices, and a good atmosphere. All the ingredients for a pleasant drinking experience.
Review Source:Nice local spot with nice decor and friendly bartenders. Â It's borderline Cerritos/Norwalk. Â I had gone to Shipmates a few times and was thoroughly disappointed with the service. Â Their bartenders think they're rock stars and you practically have to beg for a drink. Â They never smile and seem like you're bothering them all the time. Â My friends and I got tired of it so we stopped going. Â Now that we found Rocks, it's on! Â I'll be sure to spread the word on this gem!

Rocks lounge is my kind of place. Great decor, chill vibe and great service from the bar staff (especially Jody!)! We rang in 2011 here and couldn't ask for a better time.
happy hour drinks the whole night.....what more to ask for?? Let's just say by the end of the night everything and everyone was a bit blurry.
Rocks is a cool spot. There are happy hour all day drink specials everyday. I especially love Tuesday nights because the patron is cheap and there is a realllllllly hot chica named Jody who works there on that night. Free Jukebox on monday nights and free pool on Sunday. Â They also have a DJ there on friday and saturday nights. Â I prefer Friday nights cause DJ ChrisKutz spins some awesome Hip Hop on that night. Â Overall, I always have a good time, even if Im just chattin it up with the regulars.
Review Source:Great place for a quick friendly drink/ drinks, they always have specials on drinks and a good juke box with great speakers and 3 clear flat screens TV's to watch the game or whatever els there is to watch. Cutie Jody is always ready to bartened her heart out to you, have a friendly conversation, all with a friendly smile.
