Just a regular "Italian" place. Nothing special. Don't expect to come to an Olive Garden, this is more like their backdoor. I got to taste their pizza which had less to offer compared to Pizza Hut. In my opinion, their prices could be cheaper for their sevice and product.

BEST PIZZA EVER.  This is my favorite pizza and foccacia in the world, yep, the world!  I love pizza and have eaten it from all corners of the earth, nothing touches Romas in Berrien Springs.  Some people think all the Romas pizzerias are owned by the same people but it is not true.  The same italian family has owned this one for many many years.

My friends in the area loves this pizza and said I had to try it. I am Italian and spent time in southern italy, so I was happy to meet the lady in the front counter who was from Naples the birthplace of pizza! So now I really had high expectations and I just knew a Naplitana would not let me down.  I ordered the large combination, breadsticks and the Pasta e fagoli.  I we got the pizza and it looked good... and breadsticks were drench in butter and parmigana chese.  I tasted the bread stick and they were soggy wet and doughy. They tasted kind of sweet. I tasty the pizza next. When I picked up the slice it fell limp and not crispy at all. i took a bite and yuck... Sweet dough like the breadstick. and Onion and gren pepper tasted and looked like the had been pre-cooked. The mushrooms were from a can. The saugage was nice and chunky but had a strange taste. I tasted a chunk of sausage by itself and realized this was not italian sausage.... it tasted like american breakfast sausage like Jimmy Dean or Bob Evans. How sadly disapointed I was that this family is from Naples and would have the "Cogliones" so serve this. No self-respecting italian would ever use canned veggitables (except olives maybe)The problem is she knows it is crap but the Americans love it. It rememided me of Papa Johns (Actually Papa is better because they use fresh toppings and Italian sausage). So if you Like Papa John's you may like this pizza pie. If you think you like this then drive to South Bend, Indiana and eat at Bruno's Pizza or Rocco's Pizza then come and tell me you still like this place.

I will tell you this the Past e Fagoli was very good! So next time my friends drag me here I will stick with the bean soup and maybe try the Beef sandwich... but the pizza, fuggetta bout it!
