Been back a few more times since and am still of the same opinion really. The chili cheese fries were very good but the garlic parm wings were WAAAAY too garlicy, they were absolutley covered.
Burger was good (Big Blue) but I just can't seem to get to really enjoy this place like I want to.
So, now that my daughter does not work there anymore, I can write about this place!
The wings here are really good. Â Very meaty. Â If you order a burger, you better be hungry! Â They are massive!!! Â For a sports bar they have a pretty diverse menu. Â On Mondays they have all you can eat snow crab for $20! Â That is awesome. Â
The buffalo dip is very good. Â I love the Stanley cup pretzels!
But, they have no REAL salsa for their nachos or chips!!! Â Chef is uhhh, very proud and won't make it???!
Try the sampler platter if you are not sure what you want...
Good prices for drinks. Â Gotta smoke outside....
It gets busy there, so wear your patience cap....
I remember back in the day when I lived in Spring Hill, there wasn't a whole lot to do there. Â Rookies is a family owned businesses that is trying to change that image.
The food selection is good and more importantly not complicated, as you would expect from a sports bar. Â The ribs are probably my favorite, very tender. Â There is a nice selection of beer and the mixed drinks are excellent.
There are enough (well placed) televisions, so there isn't a "bad seat" inside. Â Despite it being a bar, they manage to still maintain a family friendly atmosphere. Â
If you find yourself in Spring Hill, Rookies is a place to checkout.
