I came here for my first time ever yesterday. I came to have some good times with some good friends and drove over and hour and a half to get there. The drive alone didn't please me, but when i came to Rooster Juice, WOW!!!!
I can NOT give anything less than 5 stars to this establishment. The food was absolutly amazing!! I had the Western BBQ Burger and was full for darn near the whole day. I learned that the BBQ Sauce was "homemade." I hope they put a copywrite on that. It was great!!
The service there.... out of 10 starts, i give a 20!!
So friendly, and always with a smile! The young lady working (never got her name) was very friendly, efficient and worked in a timely manner with all the costumers there. She did an amazing job. Hence the reason i left a 50% tip for her.
If anyone wants to go to a place that is just laid back with a great, classic, Â family friendly atmosphere, then you need to come to the ROOSTER JUICE.
I will be back again.
Had lunch here and had the rooster burger - Disappointed!!! Â very DRY! I saw the store bought patties. I wished I spent my money at Carl's jr next door. On a good note.. my buddy had his turkey burger for free coz he got it when everyone was almost done with their food. It was only my first time to go there for lunch and this place is probably a nighttime kinda place. A piece of advice to the chef... when cooking raw meat in the grill, don't show us you are handling vegetables as well with the same hand. My one star is for the hotdog. Goodluck.

My wife & I stumbled across Rooster Juice one night after a move.
And now we are hooked.
This is a great, warm, friendly place, super people & great service.
Menu is a bit limited, but everything I have tried has been very fresh, very well prepared.
They haven't gotten me to sing karaoke yet, but the 'good food' part of their slogan is right on the money.
I love this place! Â I went in for the first time about a month ago or so and I've been back many times since. Â I LOVE the white sangria and the ribs are to die for! Â The owners are warm and friendly ... it's like one big happy family there. Â Manteca needs more places/people like this :)
Review Source:First off, I would just like to note that I'm only rating the food as I just had lunch there.
At first glance what caught my eye was the BBQ sign out front. Needless to say, we wandered on in to try it out. Decor was nice and inviting as well as the staff.
Now the food. Well, for boasting bbq it was just okay. I had their hamburger and Italian sausage while my friend had the bbq'd chicken breast sandwich. The hamburger came out looking lack luster with the dreaded perfect circle patty (which notes frozen, ick) with little to no personal flair or taste; basic cheap bun. The sasuage, well, not much you can mess up there. My friends chicken looked like those cheap costco chicken breasts...you know, the whole breast cut in half to make look like a full one. Basic bun no flair etc. And to top it off, it was all grilled on gas. Although, a plus was the free sides of onions, bell peppers they let you add. If it wasn't for those, I probably would haven't finished it as it really had no taste but the veggies.
If you're going to boast bbq, come real and show passion. Basic boring bbq isn't bbq.
